This VM is made on the song "Piya tu kahe rootha" from the movie "Kahani". I have used scenes from the beginning of the "fake wife" track. Dev here was the most obnoxious and rude person because Radhika did not fall into his nice plans of playing martyr and making Radhika play martyr too. Since my sympathies are with Radhika here, the last part of the song is based on the scene where Radhika finally stands up for herself and show Dev that there is a limit to how much she would tolerate. I liked that scene for the most part because her standing up for her self-respect was consistent with her characterization. Also this resulted in halting of Dev's abusive behavior towards her to some extent.

Liked the journey of Radhika that you showed in this VM...from being completely broken to finally putting her foot down. As for Bumbum he did need a whack here...what a fruitcake he became for the inmates in Purohit Kabutarkhana.

Misti/Myra, this VM is for you.

This VM is based on the song "aankh seedhi lagi" from the movie "Half Ticket". Misti had given this song in one of her hilarious commentaries during the glory days of CB2 (when Bholu was smart, Phullu was being her stubborn self and Bhasu was clever and manipulative). This song was always in my mind ever since Misti came up with this, but did not have scenes in mind. But while I was making one VM for Heena's thread, I got an inspiration for this song.

I had made a song "Piya tu kahe roothe" where Bholu (Dev) was at his obnoxious best. So I decided that he needed a payback and this song and Bhasu were perfect for that. I wanted to post it in Heena's Valentine thread, but decided against it as I did not want to get chappals for what I did to Bholu.

Following is the song starring Pran and Kishore Kumar.

Here Bholu is Kishore Kumar and Bhasu is Pran. Again remember, this is just a spoof and is a payback to Bholu for what he did to Phullu. Phullu is a sidekick in this story but is the main catalyst for causing a break-up between two soulmates Bholu and Bhasu.

Myra, Bhasu has the upper hand here for the most part. But as usual Bholu is the winner in the end.

The title of the VM is "Love Story"; the title is from Eric Segal's novel. But like most great stories, the love story of Bholu and Bhasu doesn't have a happy ending.

Misti had given me feedback that I had included some lines which showed Radhika being on defensive about serving Dev when her character was fearless. The lines also show that the character doesn't care about other people's opinions. So I modified it and have added more dialogues and different scenes.

The title of the VM is "How Do I Love Thee?"

ooo one of my favourite songs. I love the scene where Kishore kumar gives a whack on Pran's bum with a jharoo. One of the most madcap songs that I have ever come across in an equally hilarious movie. By the way it was a good idea that you did not post this in the valentine thread.😉

By the I first thought of this song in CB1 with Dev as Kishore Kumar and Chachoo as Pran. 😉

This VM is a fluffy one based on the song "Pal Pal...har pal" from the movie "Munna Bhai lage raho". I started this VM a while back as I could think of couple of scenes for middle of the song. But then I had problems with the beginning and the end part and so I gave it up. I decided to finish it now because I was trying to experiment with the editing of song. Here I have experimented by merging one version of the song with the other version of the same song.

This one is a light song showing happy moments of Dev and Radhika from CB1. Here Dev is cute, but I like Radhika more because of her transformation to a happy carefree person who started enjoying living in a moment.

As far as Avi's new show is concerned, I just hope he gets a role where he is more than a show piece. A lot of Hindi soaps especially the ones with emphasis on saas-bahu theme tend to make their lead character as one-dimensional cartoonish character.

Misti, welcome back. You always bring back life in the forum when you write. I loved your analysis of how you made your choices for that Valentine contest.

Coming back to this VM, first of all thanks for liking it. Loverboy was my favorite character in CB1 until he turned into Abhay and made me want to whack him. So this song just suited him.

But now I am confused. I understand the combination of mushy and hot chocolate. But this anti-migraine made me scratch my head. Are you one of those black coffee drinkers who find hot chocolate to be too sugary. I am into sugar addiction these days. So more the sugar, better it is. Also I am too cold this winter. So hot chocolate is my choice of night drink. I only avoid it so as to not overdo the sweet part.
