These- in my opinion- are the top five best confrontations between Arnav and Khushi. I rated them based on their intensity, emotional aftermath, and affect on the audience (aka me). Most of them are Arnav yelling at Khushi and her responding back, because- let's face it- ASR is the one to always jump into fights without thinking.
*Note*- There is no ranking per say- I posted it in alphabetical order.
1. First Meeting- The infamous 'dori' scene.

This scene started it all. His insolent suggestions, and audacity to tear the pearls of her blouse, established ASR's character as an arrogant bully who wants the world to bow before him. Whereas, her defiance to his intimidation despite being scared shitless foreshadows how she'll turn his world upside down. As Gul mentioned, the 'dori scene' was pretty controversial b/c no lead actor ever did such an act meant for a villain, but it definitely got the audience hooked!
2. Arnav rescues Khushi from the collapsing building.

Granted this is not a two-way fight- it made it on my top five because of Khushi's explosion. He made her stand in the rain, stay up all night typing on a typewriter from the 18th century, deliver it to his house, and then sent her to a building on the brink of falling apart without having any breakfast. Frankly, I'm shocked she didn't slap him. This is the most aggressive Khushi has been in the whole show (even though he did worse things in the future), and it is probably the first time someone stood up to him to that degree. The scene the next day when she gives her resignation is also note-worthy. It definitely left an impression on Arnav.
3. I hate you!

Two days before this scene, these two were ready to confess their love to each other. And then shit hit the wall, and they did a 180 turn. There were many intense sequences post-terrace scene, but this one was the most poignant scene to me. Arnav is beyond tortured- he can't stand the fact that the girl he loves is having "an affair" with another man, who happened to be his BIL- the man his sister worships. At the same time, he hates seeing her tears, and the way their family is treating her. Meanwhile, Khushi is clueless about how her world changed so much overnight, and all the people she treasures so much have stopped talking to her because of the man she loves. This scene they take all their frustration out against each other, and repent it in their own way. It crushes me that something so beautiful turned so ugly. I mean, look at their expressions when the other says 'I hate you' to them.
4. Arnav closes the door on Khushi's hand

There is no short supply of passionate fights after marriage. But I chose this one because it epitomizes the misunderstanding and mistrust between Arnav and Khushi. The scene demonstrates: (1) Arnav's need to protect his sister, (2) his complete lack of trust in Khushi yet his inability to remain indifferent to her tears, (3) Khushi disbelief that he is the same person she fell in love with and her inability to understand him (Shaitan/ Rajkumar), (4) the hovering creep in the background, and (5) Arnav's instant reaction when Khushi is in pain regardless of how angry he is with her. This fight made me want to rip my hair out because he always gets close to telling her why he married her but refuses to do so, and deteriorates the situation even more.
5. The mother of all misunderstandings ends (not).

Thank the lord! Arnav reveals why he married Khushi while saying the most vicious things to her. Khushi has no character? Really, ASR?! And Mrs. KKGSR- please stand up and take a bow. You gotta hand it to his girl for standing up and defending herself when such callous accusations were being thrown at her. Arnav and Khushi love each other very deeply, but there is ZERO level of trust b/w them. This fight is the crux of their relationship- they don't rely on each other and take it upon themselves to handle everything, which blows up in their face. I was sitting at the edge of my seat, and wanted to throw said seat against my computer screen when Arnav refused to believe Khushi. But man, what a fight!

I might make more Top Fives (including top 5 most hurtful things Arnav said/ did to Khushi that he regrets) so some more fights will be included in that segment.
