Cricket Crash Course

I do not understand the cricket game...Actually I have not seen it before...

Sorry Sabrina I am not much of a sports person, so I can't help you with that 😕. Ever since I came to US haven't watched a single match, so don't remember much about it. 😕

A cricket match is held within 2 teams!!

Each team consists of 11 players with one as Captain!!

Toss will be held and who gonna win the toss have to opt to either bat or ball first !! If one of team captain won the toss and elected to bat first , then the other team have to bowl or vice versa!! This is probably called the first innings!!

And with the target score on which the first team challenges, the second team had to chase over that score!! If the second team successfully chase them then they were declared as winners, if not obviously the former team was the winner !!

Total 50 overs and each over consists of 6 balls !!

Bowlers usually were keen on to take wickets where as the batsmen were keen on to make good score without loosing their wicket!! And Umpires gonna present to judge the statistics!!

4 runs- boundary !! 6 runs-six !! Thats how the match runs!!

This is how exactly International cricketers play !!

But in PV , I'm not sure about the players in each team but surely the rules and scenario gonna be exactly the same!! Overs might be limited too just 5 or 10 in PVland !! 😆
