It was a treat for all Ahem followers and the Gohem love to be embraced with lots of Ahem.
Upon realisation of just what he had done following Jigar's jest on him, did he reveal his shy love and his want to see her reaction. These two moments are captured in the photos below. It was a unique moment where Ahem openly had shown his true emotion of love, affection then desire.
This possibility opened new windows for Ahem. It got him out of his routine of leaving and return from work, video or telephone conference calls and meetings ... all in the guise of work. He wanted to be footloose and fancy free by trying out some modelling poses in front of the mirror and expecting his Gopi to blend in. This gave him the scope to have her within arms length, assure her that he was there for her and his want to keeping it real through eye contact.
But these windows rapidly closed and his possibilities were quashed, sending him thinking what was it that was dampening his newly created moments of possibilities.
We have had glimpses of this warm and loving Ahem even in the dark days of their marriage. Three occasions come to mind when they had direct eye contact that stirred his emotions: one, when he held her hands as she held the diya - their first meeting, during the dandiya dance competition and when he gave her a rose during Kinjal's engagement celebrations. Whilst we have had greater moments during his transformation and confession time, nothing matched today's to those past moments. It continues to reveal his inner feelings. It tells that then, retrospectively thinking, he was moved by her and his feeling of love was very deep seated.
It will be a challenge for Ahem to get his Gopi to bring out her best. He knows she has it in her but he will have to work on it, whether or not he gets to find out what it was that upset her. Hopefully we will get to see his magic that he has to spin around her in the coming episodes.
