When Asad seriously and in a to-the-point manner , gave her the hint address and the photograph back- Zoe's face was like a melting pot of chocolate. He actually made an effort for me? This emotionally challenged man does care that she finds her father and a closure to her disturbed past.
It was a moving moment for Zoe as she took the photograph and the paper from Asad, barely finding words to express her shock and her gratitude. She could no longer keep standing there and face Asad with a face that had been forced to lie. It didn't matter which and who Ayaan did the footwork - it was Asad who had thought that much for her and that stuck with Zoe.
How much things have changed. Till yesterday , Zoe could lie to Asad , fool him without a pang of guilt , without a second thought to the repercussions. Today? Her voice stammers , her eyes seek a hiding place , and tears often find a way when she has to lie to Asad. Her heart refuses to cheat Asad on anything and hence , the hesitation and physical cowardice when she has to.
Asad? For a pleasant and big change, Asad was not judgmental at all. He was furious that Zoe was hiding the truth. Yet, he asked her in a calm tone - once, twice , thrice , straight away, in a round-about way.But she continued to lie and it was only then that he lost his cool and grabbed her to shake the truth out of her. For once , it was 'aapne aisa kyun kiya' instead of 'aap aise hi rahengi hamesha".
And can i say something about Humzie? Why are people judging her and tagging her as Razia Part 2? No daughter thinks ill of her mother unless she has seen her in a criminal act. Children , until they are exceptionally moralistic and objective , rarely give up their parents . Humzie just reacted as a daughter who could not take Ayaan's attitude towards her mother.
And Ayaan? What did you just say? Humzie is like her mother, ehh? The same woman said NO to save you when she could have easily become Humeira Ayaan Ahmed Khan aur tum toh kya , tumhaara poora khandaan use nahiin rok sakta tha. WATCH YOUR TONGUE!
