^^ Well if Sabya was no longer available, they had to go with someone else no?? And looking from the first look, seems like Anju Modi has done a really good job!

Nice to know that Sonam and SLB still keep in touch. Ahhh my Saawariya feels!

As the smell of rajnigandha wafted in the air many prominent faces of the city were spotted entering Kamani Auditorium as women achievers in the field of art, culture, philanthrophy, literature and fashion were awarded for their work. On the occasion of its silver jubilee, Art Karat awarded the 'women of substance'. The list included the likes of Ritu Kumar, Anju Modi, Sonal Mansingh, Sushma Seth, Radha Reddy, Sohaila Kapur, Anjoli Ela Menon, Yamini Krishnamurti, Maneka Gandhi and Shahnaz Hussain. The award ceremony was followed by a Bharatnatyam recital by veteran actress, Vyjayantimala Bali.
"It is such a nice feeling to be recognised for my efforts. I was in shock when I was informed about the Padma Shri this year and now this 'women of substance' has only added to my euphoria. I have always been working towards the revival of native Indian textiles and handlooms and will continue with it. The fashion industry is finally receiving its due," said Ritu Kumar, dressed in a beautiful black and gold jacket and skirt.
Veteran actress Sushma Seth was a picture of elegance in a white sari teamed up with a full-sleeve white blouse that had silver embellishments. Talking about her zest for life, she said, "I enjoy doing whatever I do. It gives me the strength to go on, be it theatre, movies or even writing. In addition, yoga has always helped me in maintaining balance a certain in life. I am a huge follower of it."
Fashion designer, Anju Modi, who is has been receiving rave reviews for designing the lehengas for Deepika Padukone in Ram Leela, was seen in a black churidaar kurta with a golden dupatta and a striking neckpiece. "My designs have always been meant for the quintessential woman and have stuck to ethnic roots. It is a great honour to have been awarded for my efforts to adhere to our culture and roots. I am looking forward for my filmy debut this year," added Modi.
Artist Anjolie Ela Menon is one of the most prominent names in the field of contemporary art. Talking about her work, she said, "My work has evolved from a certain sense of brashness and vigour in my youth to a finesse achieved through the medium of watercolours, after I returned from France. Often people have tried to categorise my style of art, but I believe I belong to no school of art and my work is purely dependent on aesthetics."
Padma Vibhushan dance guru, Sonal Mansingh was spotted in purple silk sari and her trademark tikka. "I feel there is a lot of talent in the younger generation and there is need for honing them. Apart from classical, I like to try producing something novel," said the dance exponent.
An enthusiastic Vyjayantimala Bali said, "I have been asked to perform for only 40 minutes. That is so less! I would love to go on for one and a half hours at least."

Anju Modi is an accomplished Designer..Not known in film circles much,I think
