I hope it gets the popularity, but doesnt go down the same road.
With IPK, the PH started taking the audiences opinion too seriously and the show revolved around Arnav and Khushi and it was as if the other characters didnt exist. After a point, there was no strong story and just random tracks between the two lead characters, and the story was a mess when Barun had to take an extended leave to focus on his movie.
Hopefully, with QH, they continue to build on the parallel tracks and have strong stories for the supporting characters so that this doesnt become a one-man show.

Well said Junoon their is a strong supporting cast in this show, so if one falter someone else story will fill the void.
Right now the show is taking it time building up it's characters and to me getting a feel of it's audience. the mistake a lot of cv make with these shows is that they gave in to pressure from the viewers, thus ignoring their original plot.
Qubool Hai could have a very long run because it's cast is fantastic when it comes to the Acting department, with one or two oddballs. The pair of Asad and Zoya is a favourite among fans all we need now is to get their love story going and who knows.

QH and IPK r two different shows QH is a family orientated show with strong story lines whereas IPK was more abt just two ppl and only a love story but QH is much more than that so comparing these two shows is not right as the shows r completely different and abt popularity IPK was only a love story that why it was enjoyed ppl whereas QH is much grand and ppl here in the UK love it even kids my nephew is in love wid Asad Ahmed khan he fights like him lol ... so QH rocks and it is very popular 😉

Yeah I agree; with like nearly all the opinions on this thread I too believe QH will do really well because of the story line and the string characters.. It's not just a s typical love story there's alot more to it and inshallah will be.. I think the sub plots and the mystery is what differentiate it from other shows and I think the audience have definately accepted this new idea and loved it.. He show itself is not that old but it's generating so many trps and also the has good reviews.. I think it is doing well and inshallah will smash it :)

I do get what you mean. And even more than anything I think it's peoples reluctance towards Indian soaps. IPK had a lot of previous DMG fans, including myself and if I'm being honest I only began to watch QH two weeks ago. It was just because IPK ended on a similar note to DMG... There was just so much mess and hassle that I really couldn't be bothered with another headache like that.

The storyline of QH does draw you in but it only did for a while. I expected more and maybe they've now created a mistake with the whole press conference, increasing peoples expectations for nothing much really.

Anyway, I'm straying from the point. You are right, the previous shows ran because of mind-numbing chemistry. Even there if I'm being completely honest, I liked DMG as a whole and the chemistry wasn't what kept me roped in. IPK was the one that was just heart fluttering, mouth open gaping, heart palpitation wala chemistry and I think it would be difficult to recreate that.

QH has potential, if they keep the story running as it had been up till a week ago, they'll keep the audiences interest.

But the truth of the matter is, if you look at the bare bones of it; a lot of the madly interested, let's analyse each and every line, the fun fans; a lot of them have been driven away by the evident bad handling of Indian soaps and the ones left are ones with bitterness towards that. So the scope for those people to return, after what for most people would be two betrayals is probably not possible. I'd give it time, maybe they'll come back like I have 😊.

But I sincerely do hope they kick the show up a little bit, it's just going down for me now.
