is it gonna be exactly like novel

omg when i saw promos of this show i knew that their love is not gonna be easy n as sanjay leela bhansali's speciality love is gonna be incomplete but still i didn't think that girl will marry another guy,but when i read saraswati chandra's novel story the girl marries another guy n she is always sacrificing oh no thats not good that's too tragic can't see another devdas,i wanted to see this show for jenifer but if it's so tragic then i won't be able to see it,i hope it's not that tragic n two lovers will unite one day

The novel is the base of the story. If SLB wants the drama to run for 2000 episodes than he is going to have to add additional parts.

That happened in the novel but I'm sure that they're going to change the story- like SLB said in the promos that mukamaal mohabat ki adhuri dastaan ab hogi puri Star Plus par. So, don't lose hopes, also SLB wants the drama to run for 2000 episodes so he is going to have to change the story. In the novel, kumud marries someone else and he dies, and then Saras purposes her again and she refuses because back then widows couldn't marry again but it's 2013 now, they r going to give a good message to the viewers. Somehow, kumud is going to end up with Saras.
