I spoke with the people at the shoot-office

The guy said that the decision was made due to pratyusha's not wanting to continue. She wanted to leave the show a while back but they did not let her go as they asked to complete the contract at least. She wanted to try out other things and some other commitments (not sure perhaps personal). Then they did try a lot to convince her but she did not want to. She started to come late at the sets etc so they were having trouble as to when they would shoot and film and then edit and then submit.

They also mentioned that the new Anandi gave auditions when Anandi's auditions were going on back in 2010. So they have been working with her as well.

This was going on now for 3 months they have tried to convince Pratyusha but she did not really come to their terms so the director/production house was forced to make this decision.

He then asked me to call in the morning (India time) to get more information.

I said ok and thanked him and told him to thank the Balika Vadhu team for their good work.

yaar i understad that u r prat fan...but that not means what ever she will do we will say right...ek baar socho to sahi yaar...do u think it is easier for channel and PH to repalce...there whole thisng is on stake...it's a big risk for them too.even more then prat...there wasnot only prat there...so many artist.worker everybody is suffering...after sometime prat get another roll but what abt BV...they has to suffer more if people take time to accept anandi...BV naver replace their actor...actor leave the show..first neha...coz she got marraid.secong anjoom she also got marraid...and now anandi...and everybody know that this issue is going on from last sep...so

The guy whom I talked to ( I think is someone who just works there, no real authority and sometimes those people see things too u know) was like ... who will want to drown their name on purpose. He said he had gotten 50 calls since morning about this (thats not a lot lol but could be figurative) he said the PH did not have a choice. He did repeat again and again that they did try and talk to her and convince her but she just wouldn't ...

So they were not left with any choice.

I think there is some truth to it. They have 3 years worth of flashbacks they can never use now...

A writer always likes to bring back comparisons. Now the new Anandi can never compare herself to the old one..cause she is another face u know.

Prats became popular and will want to try movies as she is young and talented. Stop blaming BV team. We always see bds of prats so much nowadays. No one can tolerate actors coming late to sets and not showing interest in the show. The show gets affected in the long run. I will tell everyone can be replaceable. It's very difficult to digest but its true in reality. 3 years is a long time for prats to get bored of the same show. Lets see if new anandi is good the trps will fall and either the ansh track will end and continue the show with jaga story or end of the show soon. I love sidyusha chemistry both on screen and offscreen. I have realized I should just watch the BV as a show how I did before shiv entered the show. After shiv entered I became the member of the forum and became crazy fan of BV watching repeat telecasts too. I will not quit the show but will come to the forum less often. Without shiv I was never a crazy fan of anandi, so I will wait and watch how the story progresses with happy anandi now.
