Hey guyz...decided I wanted to write a FF for our lovely couple Shiv and Gauri as well! The characters are the same...but I want Shiv and Gauri to meet under different circumstances. I won't do much of a character introduction. You'll learn more about them as the parts continue...I hope you like it!đ
Part 1:
Shiv quietly led his horse out of the barn. It was past midnight and Rupa should have been here by now. It wasn't safe for a woman to be out this late and Shiv finally had gotten up from his slumber and decided to search for her. The only problem was he didn't know what she looked like. He climbed up on his horse and led him down the hill, away from his cottage.
Gauri was scared. She had ventured out of their cottage towards the forest to read under the shade. She didn't know how the time had passed and when she had fallen asleep. But when she woke up, it was pitch dark. And Gauri was scared. She picked up her Shakespeare collection and slowly stood up in her spot next to the huge oak tree. Taking deep breaths, she tried to think back to the morning's journey. She had gotten out of their cottage and headed straight. Or was it left? Maybe it was right? Oh God, how was she going to get back? She looked up at the sky. It must be past midnight. And it was so dark. Even if she knew how to get back, she couldn't see that well.
She rushed forward, one arm clutching her book tightly and the other wiping the tears fervently away from her face. She paused, her breath freezing in her throat. Was that a howl? Are there wolves here? OMG! That was it! Clutching her book tightly to her bosom, Gauri heaved the skirts of her dress up in one hand and began running with all her might. She didn't care about the branches grazing her bare arms or of the sound of the beating hooves from behind her. In fact, she didn't even notice the looming figure of the horse and the man riding until she felt a pair of strong arms wrap around her waist. She was picked off the ground effortlessly as if she was as light as a feather. Gauri opened her mouth to scream but it was quickly closed shut by a strong hand. She flailed her arms around in hope of making the assailant loosen his grip, but to no avail. She was set on the top of the horse and Gauri let go of her dear Shakespeare to get a hold of herself and seated properly. The hand over her mouth loosened and Gauri once again opened her mouth. Before she could say anythingâŚ
Shiv: shhhâŚit's okayâŚit's just meâŚShiv!
