I can see that you are quite taken with this blackmailing theory, and the CVs might well begin with it, but like you, I do not think Onir will cave in because he would never be able to stomach working for such sleazebags, even if not in organ stealing. But if the CVs make him cave in, I will, like you, wash my hands off him.

At the risk of being booed for torpedoing such a lovely, lurid track, I must also point out that from what we were shown, there is nothing that cannot be easily explained away. The crooked Dean tells Mittal that Onir's face looked tense, but then the face in never shown from the front at all. They are all top on shots, and mostly of his back. I know that a back is held to be as eloquent as a face, but somehow, I do not think that is what the crook means!😉
So,we see Onir coming out of one room (Purvi's), carrying a white bundle in his arms. He enters another room on the same side of the corridor (Ovi's). A little while later, he comes out of that room carrying another white bundle in his arms. He walks to the end of the corridor and is shown talking to that nurse and the orderly.
There is nothing to prove that the two white bundles were not the same. All that Onir has to say is that he was carrying the still born child from his wife's room, to have it put in the cold storage, probably. At that point, he wanted to check on Ovi's baby again, so he went into her room carrying the stillborn child, checked the live baby and came back with the stillborn child still in his arms. How on earth can Mittal prove that Onir is not telling the truth? As for his looking disturbed, why, he is supposed to have lost his baby. How else would he be?
My bet is that this blackmailing stunt will end up exactly like Vinay's, and will backfire on Mittal. But if, as usual, the CVs junk all logic and push it to the court case level, like you, I too devoutly hope that Purvi will not do an Archana on Onir, but will (most tearfully, that is a given) reveal all in the court and exculpate her husband. If she fails him, after all that he has done for her, she deserves a thorough thrashing, of the sort that I thought of for Arjun after the hilltop disaster. Just a write off will not do. I hated Archana for what she did to Manav in that fake chawl demolition case, and if Purvi is going to follow in her aai's footsteps, she deserves condign punishment, not a slap on the wrist.
As for all the shrill clamour that Onir ( some also add Purvi) should go to jail for the babyswapping, though I am getting to sound like an LP stuck in one place, let me repeat one more time that this is not a cognizable offence like robbery or murder where the police can act on their own.The factual position in this matter is that the police can act only if the affected party or parties lodges a complaint and files an FIR (first information report). But who among the Ds is going to do this? They will all be busy getting a large medal for Purvi, to thank her for her latest and mahaanatam superlative) tyaag.
Coming to the other stick used to beat Onir with, the only affected party in the pregnancy report is Purvi, and no one else has any legal locus standi in that matter, not Archana or anyone else. And Purvi is hardly going to complain about the doctored report, which,incidentally, is actually prepared by that Dr.Braganza, as she states herself.
Finally, to my mind, by now so much water has flowed under the bridge that the Arjun-Purvi romance is about as fresh as last week's buns. It cannot be revived with oxygen or CPR. The Arjun-Ovi relationship is about as fresh as last month's buns. Watching Arjun look at his baby girl, thank Ovi for giving him a daughter, and proclaim that he was now a father, was dismaying for any admirer of Rithvik the actor. He did not look like a sleepwalker, he looked spaced out.
He should be rescued forthwith, perhaps by having him too shot by Soham and stuck in a room next to Archana's, but not for just 2 months. As expiation for having reduced him to this level, Ekta should give him a proper role in a new production. But not Jodhaa Akbar.

That said, I think the tapes will frame Onir and Mittal & Co. will blackmail him, he will end up in trouble and on the other side of the law. Hopefully when it comes to saying no to kidney trafficking and Mishti on opposite sides of the balance, Onir like the good doctor he is, will have sense enough to not choose Mishti and her silly secret, and Mishti at that point hopefully for once in her life will think sensibly and reveal to all her harkath plan of baby switching which Onir complied with at her insistence. Arjun and Ovi will not press charges knowing it was done for "their" benefit by Mahaan Purvi nd so will get Onir off the hook. If Purvi still hankers after Arjun and Ovi's happiness and their "hamari bacchi" over Onir, I will write off Purvi once and for all, completely. She will not be worth the name of second lead if she does anything as craven as that.

Maybe when he is being blackmailed, the doctor's who are blackmailing him will find out that he didn't know about the scam in the hospital at all, but they will keep on blackmailing him.
I just hope they don't kill him off because i like him as a character and honestly it would suck for him to die just so Purvi can be lonely and wait for Arjun who probably will not leave his wife or his child for her.
