Won't the family wonder who's lying?

Now that Kaya's given her version, won't the family wonder who's lying...Kaya/Gauri or Shiv? If Kaya's to be believed, then Shiv lied to his family abt Gauri telling him abt Nitesh at the beginning. For, if Gauri has nothing to do with Nitesh why would she even talk abt him?

Won't that raise doubts abt shiv?

Also, why should they believe Kaya and not think that she's trying to save Gauri?

Of course, knowing the prduction team, they won't break their heads over this and will let it pass.
