Whats the best laptop make for students?

Ok guys, well i'm a university student now in my 3rd year i feel now i really need a laptop where i can use wireless internet and i can do my uni work on it. but i don't kno which laptop make/company i should choose 😕. i would like to hear your experiences with laptops and some advice plz..like what size of hard drive its ok? 60gb? 80gb?

Will appreciate it if u can do this poll and give ur opinions...

I carry around a toshiba satellite with a Intel centrino processor. I also have a 60 gb hard drive and 512 mb ram. My laptop works really good and fast.

I am in the computer field and the best advice I can give you is:

Brand: Toshiba or HP.
Processor: Celeron is bad.
Hard drive: For college students, 60 gb is good enough.
RAM: 512 is good. 256 is good, but slower.

*Make sure the wireless is built in the computer. Some laptops do not have it built in.

Personally i rekon you should get an IBM laptop. I find them quite the best compared to the recent dell laptop i have brought.

😕Well...lots of choices but u iam going to buy a dell laptop 😛and so i voted for dell😳

Wow!! thanx for your opinions every1...well i have found a good toshiba laptop which i mite go for...my parents are gettin me it this week cos its my birthday on Monday 6th Nov :) i see that some of you think sony is gud but i think sony is so expensive becos of their design and name. but lets c wat i get..hmmm
