This is plausible...more like I imagined it to be...from where everyone had this theory of Asad sacrificing Zoya to Ayaan- they have still not met!

Great post. I was also thinking the same thing, that its circumstances that tear Ayaan and Asad apart and not Zoya. But my thoughts diverged a bit on the love triangle. I was thinking that Zoya is the one that brings Ayaan and Asad back together. During this time Asad realizes he loves her, Zoya is in love with Asad, Zoya and Ayaan become good friends and Ayaan falls in love with her. When Asad is ready to tell her, Ayaan will tell Asad his feelings. Asad will keep quiet about his feelings and ask Zoya to accept his brother's proposal. Zoya and Ayaan will get engaged. Not 100% certain 4Lions will get Zoya and Ayaan married though. I think they know their viewers will riot lol. Its just my theory. Apologies in advance if anyone is offended

OMGGG I though the same exact thing !!!

I agree, seeing the love the brothers have, I hadn't thought something like this would come between them. I mean if one knew the other loved Zoya they would give up their own love for the other. So the rift is this, Asad is now emotionally dependent on Zoya, letting her in unknowingly, and like you said, her understanding of his pain and the others not doing so shall make a lot of difference in the future.

Just some thoughts I had! Probably total bakwas, but I'd appreciate it if you read and comment 😊

So for months now, everyone's been wondering how Zoya's going to tear Asad and Ayaan apart, how their love for Zoya is going to make their relationship complicated, how the nikkah is going to happen and break how their relationship is going to survive afterwards, etc etc. However, today, we saw that what might actually break them apart is the oldest thing that brings them together- their own father.

Now this is a rift I can appreciate! It makes sense, it's needed, and it's the elephant in the room. Ayaan has depended all his life on his brother and yet has never taken the time to think about how difficult it is for his bhaijaan to hear about his parents. He has all the faith in the world in his brother, but has never really understood his pain. And now he will- but he will be angry and confused. And I'm sure Razia will add to his emotional fire.

Asad, who's been emotionally cheated all his life, has finally got a bright light in the form of Zoya- even as he's knocked down even further with the most shocking revelation of his life. He's going to have no idea how to deal with his brother's questions because he's got too many of his own, and there's a high chance that Ayaan will consequently misunderstand him.

And so Zoya. She's there, she understands Asad's pain, and she will try to help him. And perhaps Ayaan will misunderstand and blame her in some way or fashion. And so the theory of her coming in between the two brothers will have come true, but not because of some fleeting attraction at the dargah or some sham marriage- but because she has found herself bound to a painful history of two brothers and has to help them find a way out- even if it means she is a barrier between them until everything is resolved.

Like you said, the brotherly rift has been there the whole time except no one has addressed it until now. This situation has finally brought it to the fore. I completely agree that Zoya isn't the reason for this divide, but she will certainly expound it though I do think it will be more to with Ayaan being in love with Zoya. It makes sense in terms of narrative to create a parallel between their father and their mothers, and the brothers and Zoya.
