No Precap for American tv?

I always assumed there was no precap for all the channels(Zee, StarPlus, Sony, Colors, etc) in America; but till now I only watched Zee shows, and today I was watching a show in Star Plus and noticed that it had a precap, of what's gonna happen tomorrow.
Why doesn't Zee TV in America have no precap?
