Hello Friends..

I thought I will give you an update of the show...

Today is the first episode of this show... This show is all about search for an actor and actress who can become another Big B or Shahrukh Khan or Salman Khan or Madhuri Dixit or Kajol or Rani Mukherjee... It is a platform for the youngsters who aspire to become an actor or actress to prove their talent...

Host of the show:

The Host of the show is Mr. Aman Verma... He has anchored many shows before like Khullja Sim Sim and has won many hearts...

As the show starts, with a very famous poem of Shakesphere... All the world is a stage (Hindi version)

Aman says - From the lakhs of contestants, 60 contestants are choosen by the jury who will perform here in this stage and 32 contestants will be choosen from here by the jury from this particular round which is called as SCREEN TEST round... Then from that 32 contestants, 2 will be choosen...

A small AV on Mumbai is shown... A voice says This is a dream city where the dreams of all the youngsters are fulfilled... Dream of Shahrukh and BIG B got fulfilled here...

The title song has been sung by Debojith(winner of SRGMP C2005) and Ujjaini(Winner of SRGMP EMET jodi)

A small AV is shown to introduce the judges...

Anupam Kher - he says there is no business like show business

Madhur Bhandarkar - The dreams can be fulfilled here...

Pooja Bhatt - Whoever performs originally without copying anyone will win this contest..

A small AV is shown where the contestants parents come and leave them in the city for fulfilling their dreams... There was one contestants MOM who was crying a lot as she is leaving her daughter...

Training for the 60 Contestants:

Training has been given for the choosen 60 contestants in Actor Prepares (An acting school of Anupam Kher).. They are taught how to deliver the dialogues, how to dance, Excersice and Streching excersices are taught for them in the academy...

Aman says - Contestants are working very hard and they are putting in all efforts to make it to the next round...

Now for the show - First Round - Screen Test Round...

In this round, all the 60 contestants are paired up as one boy and one girl and they will be performing.. they will perform one scene and one dance... The judges will review their performance give marks and select them for the next round... 32 contestants will be selected in 2 weeks of time.. This week and next week will be this round...

Pair 1 - Chandini Desai from USA and Prabjhoth from Mumbai..

Prabjhoth says he was a bit afraid as Chandini is from US and was worried about her Hindi but she is very good...

Scene:

They perform a scene from No Entry...

Judges Comments:

Madhur - It was filmi
Pooja - It was very unreal
Anupam - It was filmi because the scene was filmi.. So, the performance was good...

Dance:

They dance to the tunes of Bhumbroo Bhumbroo...

Judges Comments:

Pooja - Much better than the scene.. There is lot of scope for improvement..
Madhur - You can improve yourself a lot
Anupam - It was much better.. Improvement can be done..

Pair 2 - Karthick and Nafisa

karthick says Nafisa is a great dancer...

Scene:

They perform for the scene of Dil hain ki manta nahin.. When they say this to the jury, Anupam says the famous dialogue in the film - Pooja beti yeh duniya ka pehla baap hoga jo apni beti ko kahega ki woh mandap se bhaag jaaye...

Judges Comments:

Madhur - Performance was low
Pooja - Feel more and then perform.. then everything will be fine..
Anupam - The hair of Karthick was falling all over the face..

Dance:

They dance for tumhe aaj maine jo dekha

Judges and comments:

Pooja - Liked Karthick more than Nafisa
Madhur - Good flexibility.. More than acting dance was good...

Pair 3 - Gaurav and Rachna

Scene:

They perform for the scene from Munna Bhai MBBS(romantic scene between Sanjay dutt and Gracey singh)

Judges Comments:

Pooja - You are a sweet couple...
Anupam - acting was shown in the dialogue
Madhur - confidence is required for Gaurav

Dance:

They dance for khudko kya samajhthi hain...

Judges Comments:

Madhur - Gaurav, you did well..
Anupam - Relationship was maintained in dance.
Pooja - Impressed with acting performance more than dance

Pair 4 - Rachel and Hardick

Hardick is from USA and he has some accent problem...

Scene:

They Perform a scene from Yuva(Rani and Abhishek scene)

Judges Comments:

Anupam - says to Hardick - Your hindi is not good.. He says this is first time he is coming to India and that he will improve...
Madhur - Emotions are to be expressed more..
Pooja - Says to Rachel - you have a lot of emotions express it...

Dance:

They dance for yeh kaali kaali aankhein..

Judges Comments:

Pooja - Much better.. You both were good...
Anupam - Level of energy was low..
madhur - Concentrate on totality

Pair 5 - Adil and Pallavi

Scene:

They Perform on a scene from parineeta

Judges Comments:

Anupam - Overall impact was good..
Pooja - We have lot of hopes on you..
Madhur - Says Pallavi that she was trying to imitate Vidhya Balan

Dance:

They dance for the song - Tu yaar tu hi dil daar tuhi.

Judges Comments

Madhur - Was very good..
Anupam - There is some ligament problem for Pallavi but then too she has done very well..
Pooja - she says the samething and then says have lot of hopes on you..

Pair 6 - Ritwika and

Sorry, forgot what was the name of the guy...

Pooja - Liked it.. It was real performance..
Anupam - Liked the continuity of Ritwika
Madhur - Agree with both

Dance:

They perform for Dus Bahane Karke le gaye dil

Judges Comments:

Madhur - Very well performed..
Pooja - Both performed very well together..
Anupam - Your overall performance was good together..

Pair 7 - Tripti Kumar

He comes all alone and says her partner withdrew because Tripti was not a good dance... For this Pooja encourages him and says people come here and leave and put the blame on the others.. She says they will get him a new partner if not she will become his partner..

There is one girl who enters she says her partner also left withdrew... So, they both are given the pair..

Thats it for today.. Tomorrow other pairs will be performing...

Thnx for the update😛 I felt Gaurav was the best today and i am sure he will go to the later stages of the show - I feel he will be in the Top 10... Besides him, Adil was also good, but I felt his dance was a lil weaker than his acting... Amongst the girls, the only one that impressed was Pallavi 😳 She was good...

One more thing I wanna say... I liked the original title track of the last season sung by Shaan This new title track by debojeet and ujaini is ok but i miss shaan's voice 😭

ya i miss shaan but im happy that Debu and Ujjaini sang.. Giving chance to a new talent is also necessary 😳

i thought pooja bhatt wa s a gud choice 😳 she was encouraging to contestants... anupam kher was also gud - did not say anything harsh 😃 ... i felt bhandarkar is blunt...
