Another thing on the release of prints is that if the producers are smart they should not relase 300 prints but maybe start with half of it so that at least the distributors in those regions revover their money. If that does not happen teh reputation of the film suffers. See now the public thinks that VZ is a hit, but in reality it was a flop for half of the distributors. This trend of maxing out has been strated by Yash Chopra and KJo and it may be beneficial in the monetary sense, but it pulls down the average of the film and then the reputation of the stars and that of of the film suffers. The prospect of making quick money has been making many of these producers blind to the more long sighted goal of keeping the integrity of the film alive and intact.

If media then points out facts, they retaliate and curse the media. I think that is so stupid.

Technically Don will be a mega flop because it sold prints in so many centers and is struggling in a majority of teh centres in India. Again a huge loss to distributors. So whereas Box office India may decalre it a hit, becasue of overall collections, the trade and media in the technical sense will not call it a hit.

its lesson for Sharukh now he should sign film like Aamir....god bless him

Thanks for the article, though I don't agree with most of whats said in there...Veer Zaara was a HIT. I don't know why SRK films get som many critics?? There are numerous films flopping miserably...but only when it's a SRK movie, people get up on high chairs n benches to push him down. Well, I don't agree...he is a very stylish actor who can do any role, but is outstanding in negative roles. He was awesome in Don, maybe people didn't like it because they compared it to the old don, but SRK did complete justice to his role. There is no other actor in the current generation who can do the same role. He is the best!
