akash bathija to enter amita ka amit

Sony Entertainment Television's Amita Ka Amit, which is produced by Swastik Productions will soon see a new entry in Akash Bathija. The young lad will essay Amit's (Nishad Vaidya) best friend who is like the 'ice-breaker' in Amit's life.

As per the ongoing track, Amit is being pressurized by his family to choose the right girl and get married. However, Amit is in a confused state of mind and does not know how to go about choosing his soul mate. This is when Batuk (essayed by Akash Bathija) will enter to calm down Amit and help him handle this tough phase in life.

To give you more information on the character, Akash Bathija is Amit's childhood friend, a 24 years old stock broker who runs a small firm. He has a plump look, and is a happy-go-lucky guy. Being Amit's closest buddy, he knows how to handle his friend's problems and always has a funny reply to give for Amit's queries. As the story goes on, Batuk will motivate Amit to choose the right girl.

Akash Bathija has earlier been seen in Colors' Veer Shivaji. He also played the supporting role of Arjun Kapoor in the movie Ishaqzaade.

Akash Bathija confirmed his entry in Amita Ka Amit and said, "Yes, my entry in the show will be aired soon. I play Amit's close friend who understands his friend's problems and knows the knack of solving his problems."
