I think right now Ronit Roy , or Smriti Irani would make better Mother and Father because they are of that age you know. Ankita is prettier than all the girls in the show LOL and Hiten is better looking than all the guys (except Arjun) but still.

I was offered Onir's role in Pavitra Rishta, but it was scrapped at the last moment as people realized I would be playing Hiten Tejwani's son in the show, who happens to a contemporary.

Ekta remembers Hiten when she needs a replacement. No new show for him. Why? Hiten should leave PR. He is a talented actor and can make it big in a show of his own.

OMG, in that scene when he was talking to Onir, Hiten looked like he was Onir's older brother. He looked so handsome and young there.

Manish Goel as Onir? I remember when Manish and Hiten were doing shows around the same time, playing young twenty somethings, and they are certainly closer in age. I can't believe he was offered the role of Onir. I like Shakti as Onir and I want Hiten to play a satisfying character, not a butchered Manav. He can play a young dad or whatever he wants, as long as his character is well written and the show is well written and there is a great team behind it (not Balaji, please).
