Chapter 16:
Recap: Swaron convo.
"Okay, Kri, Rey! I Have to leave guys! I have a date. Gotta meet my guy!" Sharon said. "What??" Swayam said, and stood up, shocked. Sharon looked at him. "What? I can go on dates you know!" Sharon said, smirking. "Nothing. Nothing at all." Swayam said, and sat back down. "Who are you going on a date with?" Kria asked. "I told you na, Kri. Mom set me up with this guy. I have to go meet him. I wanna see if he's good enough since I'm going to be spending my whole life with him. Swayam flinched a little when he heard that. "What happened Swayam?" Preetha asked. "Nothing. I'm fine." Swayam said. "Okay. Have fun. And be careful." Rey said. "I will bro." Sharon said. "Kri, can I borrow that gorgeous red dress you wore for Vday. That one which was simple yet classy!" Kria said. "Sure, come with me. I'll give it to you." Kria said. Sharon got up and went with Kria. Kria gave her the dress. Sharon put on the dress, removed her pony and let her hair loose. She brushed her hair to untangle her brown locks. She also put on heels. She knew this was just a formal date but come on! She had to look good. She also borrowed Kria's earrings. Sharon then went to the room where the others were sitting. Swayam was looking here and there but he stopped when he saw Sharon. He couldn't take his eyes off her. Kria looked at him and looked in the direction at which he was staring. Kria smiled when she saw Sharon there. "How do I look?" Sharon asked. "You look amazing Sharu! You should totally have that dress. It looks better on you." Kria said. "Awww, kri. No it's yours. But I will take it when I need it. Jk!" Sharon said. "Okay, then I better get going. Bye! I'll call you soon." Sharon said. "Yea, sure." Kria said. She hugged Sharon. Sharon hugged Rey and kissed him on the cheek, waved to Swayam and Preetha and then left. She sat in the car and drove.Since there was no parking spot next to the caf, she parked her car at her workplace and then walked from there to the caf.
She was a little nervous. It was her first date with someone other than Swayam. Ughh! Why are you thinking about Swayam now? She shook of any thoughts of Swayam and then searched for Ashish. She was such a fool. She hadn't even seen his photo. She looked around and found a guy sitting alone. She crossed her fingers and hoped that it was him. His back was facing her.She went next to him. "Ashish?" she called out. The guy looked up at her and smiled at her. "Hi, you must be Sharon." He said. "Yea, I am." She said, and smiled and was relieved that her guess was right. He looked Charming. Very. He was the kind that girls would fall for. But he didn't seem like a player. He had a charming and a kind appearance. He wore a plain white shirt and jeans. He looked as if he'd come down straight from work.His smile was that kind that would melt anyone's heart. "Please sit." Ashish said, pulling the chair away from the table for her to sit. He's a really nice guy. There was an awkward silence for a while till he spoke up. "Do we order coffee or something?" Ashish asked. "Uh'well'" Sharon said, when ashish smiled at her again. "Hey, you don't have to be scared of me. I'm not going to eat you alive." Ashish said. Sharon grinned. "No no, i was just'.Okay. I'll have cold coffee. The one with the icecream on top." Sharon said. "Sure." Ashish said, as he called the waiter. "Two cold coffees, please. One with the icecream on top." He said. "Yes, sir. Anything else?" the waiter asked. Ashish looked at Sharon. She nodded a NO. "No thanks." Ashish said. The waiter went off. "Have you been waiting here for a long time? I'm sorry I'm late because I was at my brother's house and whenever I go there, I lose track of time because my brother is married to my best friend and we keep talking stuff and like we never stop. You know the kind which only we know and no one around us know about'" Sharon kept talking, while Ashish looked at her with a smile. He thought she was soo adorable just talking continuously like that. He didn't want her to stop. Then Sharon realized that she was talking too much. "I'm so sorry. Sometimes I just talk nonstop. I'm really sorry." Sharon said, embarrassed. "Hey, it's okay. I like people who talk a lot." Ashish said. "You can continue." Sharon blushed. She could feel her cheeks turning a red colour. She didn't even know why. She's not supposed to be feeling this way. She was feeling different. She hadn't felt this way about anyone other than Swayam. She tried so hard to not blush but she couldn't stop. Was it because of his comment? Or was it because of Ashish himself? His eyes, his smile. Those chocolate brown eyes. "na, it's fine. I don't want to bore you. So'" Sharon started, when the waiter came with their coffee. It was the best she'd tasted. She had been to this place with her friends like so many times, but that day it was different to be drinking coffee with someone else who wasn't Swayam. She knew very well that she wouldn't say yes to Ashish. She just wanted to know how other guys were. Since Swayam was out of her reach. Who knows, her and Ashish could become good friends. "The coffee's amazing. The best I've ever tasted." Ashish said. "Yea, they make the best coffee here. Haven't you come here before?" Sharon asked. "Nope. This is the first time I'm coming here." Ashish said. "That's pretty unbelievable." Sharon said. "I know right! But what to do? I'm so caught up with work and all." Ashish said. "Ah. I see. So what are your hobbies?" Sharon asked. "Well, I love music. I love playing the guitar, I love surfing, and going on long drives etc.What about you?" Ashish asked. "I love dancing. I'm very passionate about dance. I teach dance as a part time job." Sharon said. "That's awesome." Ashish said. "And you might know that I'm a fashion designer!" Sharon said. "Yea, I do. And you might know I'm an architect." Ashish said. Sharon looked at him for a second and nodded a NO. "I didn't until you told me. Actually my mom didn't tell me anything'and there's a huge story and everything'" Sharon started, but stopped immediately. "Hey, no problem. It's good to know things about each other personally. Not from others." Ashish said. "Yea'true." Sharon said. "Soo'were you in a relationship or something?" Ashish asked. Sharon looked away from him and hugged herself. She looked in random directions. Ashish noticed this. She was feeling uncomfortable. "Hey, you don't have to tell me. I was just asking to make conversation." Ashish said. "Yea, yea..i know..i just..i'm not ready to talk about it now..I hope you don't mind." Sharon said. "I don't mind. Please, this serious look doesn't suit you AT ALL. Please get back to your bubbly self." Ashish said. Sharon smiled and shook her head. They started talking about other things like family and all. Finally it was time to leave. Part of Sharon wanted to leave and not agree to the wedding because she loved only Swayam but part of her wanted to stay with ashish and keep talking to him because he was such a fun person. But she had to go because it was late. "So it's time to leave." Sharon said. "Too bad. It was nice talking to you. Hope we meet up again." Ashish said, and winked. OMG! Did he actually wink at me? Sooo cute.Sharon stop ittt!!!!!!!! "So I'll drop you home?" Ashish asked. "I'd love to but I came in my car. Maybe next time?" Sharon asked, smirking. Ashish's face brightened up a bit. "Next time? So we'll meet up again?" he asked. "Why not? I mean, we had fun talking today didn't we?" Sharon asked. "And I need your number. I don't have it." Sharon said, taking out her phone. "Sure it's 909-'" he said. "Thanks." Sharon said. "I don't have your number either. Just give me a missed call. I'll save it." Ashish said. Sharon did as he said. "I'll walk you to your car." Ashish said. "Sure. I'd like that." Sharon said. They walked till the car. "Bye Sharon. Take care. See you soon." Ashish said. "Bye Ashish." Sharon said. Ashish moved closer to her and kissed her on the cheek. Sharon jumped a little because she wasn't expecting that at all. But she didn't push him away or anything. It was just one on the cheek. She kissed him back on the cheek,smiled and waved to him and then she drove back to Rey and Kria's house. It was around 8:30 in the night when she reached. She thought Rey and Kria would be alone so she ran and flopped onto the sofa like she did when she was 14. Old habits die hard, don't they? She always used to do this when she was really happy or excited about something.
But then she realized that Swayam and Preetha were still there. "Sharu!!!! Your back? And look at that smile on your face." Kria said. "Yea, I had so much fun!" Sharon said, not bothering about Preetha or Swayam's presence. She just wanted to tell Kria everything. "Tell me everything. First tell me, how does he look?" Kria asked. "I will. And he looks amazing. Like he's so charming and the way he talks is just'so nice. I didn't want to come from there." Sharon said. "Ooo'.look at you blushing and all!" Kria said. "Do you have a photo of him Sharon?" Preetha asked. "Nope. I forgot to take one." Sharon said, but without turning to look at her. "Then what happened?" Kria asked. "Yea, basically we talked. We ordered cold coffee and I was telling him about how they make the best coffee here and everything. We got to know about each other's work, interests and all. And then he walked me to the car. I really liked his attitude. A fun loving person. Guess what? He kissed me on the cheek!" Sharon said, with so much excitement. "OMG!!! Really??????? Wow, Sharon. You're blushing so much. I haven't seen you this happy ever since that thing. I really want to meet this guy who changed your mood." Kria said. "Definitely." Sharon said. "We're going to meet up again soon. I'll call him home then." Sharon said. "You have to." Kria said. Sharon's phone beeped. It was a text message from Ashish.
Good night. Looking forward to meeting you soon.
Sharon smiled reading the text. She didn't know what was happening to her. She never got so excited for things. "Text message from him eh?" Kria asked. Sharon nodded. Then she actually noticed Rey and Swayam. "Oh hey Rey. Hey Swayam." Sharon said. "You said hi to me. From morning you've been acting like I'm some piece of trash. You didn't even look at me once." Swayam said, pain clearly seen on his face. "So I know we used to be good friends. But things change." Sharon asked. "What are you talking about?" Swayam asked. "Don't ruin my mood talking about irrelevant things. Kri, can I spend the night here?" Sharon asked. "Why are you asking?" Kria asked. "Don't you want dinner?" Sharon got up. "No kri. I'm full. Good night everybody. I know it's very early to sleep but I'm tired. So bye." Sharon said, and went up to the room. She had her own room in Kria's and Rey's house. She changed and then she lay on the bed and started texting Ashish.

I know you'll all kill me since i haven't updated in a long time. But i'm really sorry. I was really busy practicing for Sports Day, Farewell dances and other stuff. So please forgive me. And the biggest problem is the powercut. Whenever i sat to type the chapter, the current kept going. I'll update asap. đ Please forgive me.
I'll give a realllyyy big update for the next chapter.
