Other than Nina's acting, another part of the episode I found worth noticing and appreciating was the small conversation between the Salvatore Brothers. The part where Damon says 'She lost her brother'. Just the fact that he was not only talking about Elena but also himself, broke my heart. And Stefan understood him. 'This time, I'm not enough' was also a very significant dialogue hence proving that if Damon can't replace the hole in Elena's life now, then Elena can't do the same for him when it comes to Stefan. The brothers need each other. I felt that this episode was more of a Salvatore Brother's episode than anything else. Or perhaps, siblings in general what with Jeremy and Vicki.. 😆

Since the past couple of episodes, we've all been waiting for the time when the brothers would go back to being what they were - a team. We finally got to see that again. They worked together without their insecurities getting in the way. I have to applaud Stefan for the way he has accepted that Elena needs Damon and he can't do anything for her. The scene where he tells Damon to come back for Elena and then asks him to 'help her' during her breakdown at the house, was marvelous. I also felt that Stefan now trusts his brother again. That lost trust has been regained and we have the brothers back. <3 When Damon tells Elena to turn off her humanity, Stefan was about to object but all Damon had to do was to gesture for him to let him do what he was doing. That's all Stefan needed. He stopped and let his elder brother take the lead.

I'm hoping we see more progress between the brothers in the coming episodes now especially since Elena no longer has her humanity so they'll have to work together whether they like it or not. 😆

i just cant believe Jeremy is gone. i mean...WHAT?
but nice points, the last episode was definitely a new turn for the salvatores relationship. i loved their talk, especially how stefan started it off. and they seem to understand each other way more now. it's like the loss elena, a girl they both care for, suffered was enough to show then how much they're bound to each other. it brought them closer than hundreds of years of life did.

Yes he might have broken up with her but Elena was Stefan's girlfriend for three whole seasons/years for god sake! I would probably react the same way (or maybe even worse) as Stefan did, if it was my sister who would go with my boyfriend knowing everything! He still, somewhere in his heart, did and still does love her which is obvious and then he is supposed to react that way. He trusted his brother and expected him to react the same way as he would if he was in his place.

However I would not blame Damon either for the whole issue between them, because an amazing character like Damon who has never really got the love he deserves and now suddenly does get the affection from Elena might have just.. you know forgotten about everything else. The only thing that irks me is when people don't look at it from both sides and start telling Stefan to accept "Delena" and move on -___-

Yes Stefan has accepted that Elena needs Damon and I am proud of him for that.. it says a lot about the Salvatores' forgiving nature. I personally don't think I would have ever been able to do that if I was in his place. I am happy and Stefan should continue being the way he was last episode, not giving too much attention to Elena lol.
