Nikihila rocked in yesterday's episode. She's such a broad minded mother in law and even though Gauri's unfortunate enough to have a hubby like Shiv😡, she's really lucky to have a family like the Kapoors coz apart from few members of that family everyone else adores her.😊

I simply loved the way Nikhila stood by Gauri when others pointed their fingers at her. Even when Gauri lied that she had a past with Nitesh, Nikhila didn't get blame her for anything but rather supported her and understood her. Hats off to her!👏

(P.S: I hope our ekta maai doesn't portray her as a negative character later on as she does in her other serials.)

why she took gauri like her own dotter?
as i said, b4 gauri's wedding there were alot of discussion giving us an idea why elders in kapoor family respect alokji. first alokji used his money to save their house n business, secondly during mahen-nikhila wedding alokji had 500 rupee only for his family but he spent 300 rupee to buy nikhila a nice wedding dress. if you are nikhila, would you forget huge sacrifice made by alokji? i think she feels alokji more than a friend, probably as her big bro. she gave birth to palak n her sister BUT i dun think they respect her so much. n remember gauri lost her mother when she was young, so nikhila does her best to make gauri to feel happy with her motherly love. 😊

nikhila knows her sisters in law very much. they dont care bout alokji n his dotter n they would do anything to make alokji's dotters feel low. nikhila knows pretty well that shayla knows about her husband affair but she is an ego woman with big pride to flaunt her perfect marriage to everybody. nikhila shows empathy to shayla during gauri's engagement but what did shayla said? dont pretend like you care, you dont know my feeling bcoz your husband not doing this to you. shayla blinded by her own ego to stay 'happy' in her 'perfect marriage'.

I agree - it is a great teaching to modern MIL's to keep this attitude tho DIL's too should keep the same approach with their MILS's - of openness then the serials can veer away from Saas Bahu story lines and create more versatile shows 😛
