HOW ALIKE ARE JAI AND SAHIL...?

Jai Walia - participates in a supposed ONS with his wife's sister, ex-fiance, and colleague. Now back with his wife.

Sahil Virani (KSBKBT) - has a full-blown affair with a colleague sent by his wife to keep an eye on him, a woman he then leaves his wife for.

(sorry beforehand if i have my facts wrong, i don't watch Kyunki as regularly as KS)

I was prompted to write this post by a comment I read earlier today. JW's actions were likened to Sahil Virani's and it was hoped that as in Kyunki where Ganga is now a successful businesswoman and Sahil is left with nothing, the same should happen with Jai and Bani.

I had wanted to post something comparing the two characters earlier, but because of time constraints it was either that new topic or update my ff - and i had no intention of receiving any joote!! 😆

Basically, after rambling for so long, all I am curious to know is, is it really fair to place Sahil and Jai's actions on the same level? So many will say that "an affair is an affair is an affair" - but don't circumstances account for anything?

Is the ONS of a drunk, emotionally shattered man really the same as an on-going extra-marital relationship by a husband who is the victim of a singular misunderstanding...?

Do feel free to say so if you think I am excessively lenient with one and harsh on another - like I said, I don't know Kyunki as well as I know KS! 😳

as much as i like to bash jai, he cannot be likened to sahil or whatever his name is (i don't watch kyunki...thank god 😆 )

ONS - one night stand - there's a reason it's called that...it's not a full fledged affair..plus he was drunk...i'm not justifying his actions...i'm just saying those two things are different.

if sahil left his wife, i think we can safely assume he didn't love her! but jai loves his wife! He did not intentionally hurt her.

the wife was told through someone else that sahil was having an affair... she trusted her husband but when she found out that this girl was pregnant with saahils child she confronted him.... he said he wasnt having an affair.. .and it was true (someone was creating these misunderstandings....)

but then Ganga(saahils wife) did not trust him anymore and a lot of times said that he was having an affair... and he got mad at her but never crossed his limits... but then she insulted him a lot repeatedly... she also put tripti as his secretary to look after him and see if he was having an affair... but tripti was one of the ppl who was creating these misunderstandings... and it ended up that tripti tricked him into being with her...

i am not justifying anything just providing the story and the facts...

ooohh is tripti's character bad then..? in uk, the affair has only just come out into the open!

yeah, i've been curious bout dat 2 cordelia. i mean i'm not trying 2 defend jai and all, wht he did was wrong, but he was also not in his senses and was feeling pretty low, miserable with his life at the moment. I don't want to say that it's not jai's fault, but i guess it's not entirely his fault. hahha, does dat even make sense? wow, i'm just going to shut up. i'm just making myself confused. 😕 😆
