Why Anupam the only successful one in Hollywood?

This guy is very talented and I admire his selection of films. He comes in a film like Silver Linings Playbook and it is nominated for the Oscars. Despite his role being supporting, he is part of a megahit $100 million film. 😉 To bad Aish or even some others couldn't achieve this feat. Is Anupam just smart or lucky? 😃 Please share your thoughts.

He is one of the most successful supporting actors in BW along with Paresh Rawal and Boman Irani.

He is one of the most, if not the most, character artistes in BW! Very versatile too.

Are you forgetting Irfan Khan? Even his movie Life of Pi is nominated for Oscars this year. He has also been part of several big HW films. And then there is Anil Kapoor. 😆

Choco, I think the title of the topic was misinterpreted. I am pointing out that Anupam is the only one from Bollywood who is appearing in a Hollywood hit that is Oscar nominated. Others like Aish, etc. have not had that much success in Hollywood. 😊

Did you forget Anil Kapoor-- Slumdog Millionaire won the Oscar? He was in MI4 as well 😆...and of course Irrfan Khan. He's been part of SM, Life of Pi, The Namesake...

Err you forgot Irrfan, Tabu and Adil Hussain who appeared in Life of Pi which has I think 11 Oscar nominations.
