Why he is a slave of Siddiqui's? He might have been drugged to sleep with Shireen but why would he hide it? Ok hide it initially, but when everything comes out in open first time, why didn't explain his stand to Dilshaad? She always and still trust him, they had a good relationship where they could talk atleast...

Here is what I thought this morning:

1. The story started 20 years ago- that's when zoya's parents got married but zoya's dad (assume its siddiqui) was already involved with Razia and promised Razia that he is marrying zoya's mom for money. During his marriage with zoya's mom, he did fall in love with her and had baby zoya with her.

2. Razia kept harassing siddiqui to get rid of zoya and zoya's mom as that's what they had planned

3. Siddiqui set their house (mansion) on fire 17 years ago. Zoya's mom managed to escape with burns ( that's why her arms were burnt when rashid buried her.

4 zoya also sustained some burns but siddiqui or her mom managed to get her to some safe place or to some person and asked them to take her far away.

5. Zoya's mom tried to hide in the doll factory but Razia managed to get there and stab her

6 in the mean time, rashid was trying to get out of his relationship with shireen and start his own business. Even though he lived with Dilshaad at that time, he was still 'tied' to her and the siddiqui s.

7. Razia and siddiqui might have proposed that if he burnt this doll factory, he could claim half the earnings from insurance and would be set free.

8 unfortunately because of the murder, the whole arson had to be prepond. That's why the urgency to set the fire on najma s birthday.

Thanks JP!! Yeah Shireen being Zoya's real phupi would be quite an awesome twist. It's just the Ayaan-Zoya/Humaira being 1st cousins thing that wouldn't work for a good portion of the audience. Who knows..maybe Ayaan is adopted himself? 😛

I really believe that Humera and Zoya are sisters (half sisters at the least). It was just the way they interacted that day of the fashion show that screamed "big sis, lil sis." Humera doesn't have a single drop of evil in her when her parents are nothing but evil. Her heart is as pure as Zoya's.
Them sharing the same mother is a big possibility. Humera's illness and age can also be explained if Zoya's mother was pregnant with Humera during the Haveli fire that happened 20 years ago. A fire that big would have inevitable effects on the fetus.

Yeah I agree! Alternately, Razia might have been intentionally giving Humera the wrong medicines to keep her in ill health.

Another reason why Razia and Siddiqui would agree to adopt Humera is if they were unable to have children of their own. Humera being an only child is evidence.

I had the same thought.

Lol at Zoya and Ayaan being siblings. That would be the grossest thing ever!!

P.S. I'm so so so excited to see Zoya's mom! If she is anything like Zoya then she's going to be a treat to watch. I hope she's as kickass as her daughter is.

I've been trying to formulate a reply, but have been waylaid by another thread. So my two cents rather late in the day.😊

I think that Zoya's parentage is possibly 'unsavoury'.

Was going through Zeenat and Anwar's conversation on the 7th nov. The conversation is as follows (I have edited it).

Anwar: We can't stop Zoya from finding out her past.

Zeenat: Lekin agar Zoya ke saamne saari sachchai aagayi, toh woh kaise bardasht kar paayegi. (But if the truth is revealed to Zoya, how will she be able to handle it.)

Anwar: 20 years is a very long time. I don't think she'll be able to find out a truth that has been buried under the dust of 20 years. But we have to let her try...or she will not be able to move on.

So Zeenat and Anwar know but don't want to tell Zoya about her painful past. And they seem to think that the best solution for her is to find the right husband, instead.

So perhaps Zoya is illegitimate.
