There is nothing wrong with leading actors being 40+ and still doing romantic roles. It's just that they should do more age-appropriate roles. Don't pretend to be 25 or 30 when you look 43 or something. And if the heroine is much younger, the film should acknowledge that there is an age gap. That's all.

I third what Kal El and Somy said. I have no problems with older men or women romancing. As long as they play roles suitable for their age. They can play slightly younger men, but should not be playing youth or kids. And if they are romancing young women, then there should be an age gap in the script.
Bollywood needs to write better mature love stories or just scripts with well written older characters.
