Shah Rukh Khan -age 47 Salman Khan - age 47

Aamir Khan - age 47

Akshay Kumar - age 45

All these superstars are on the wrong side of 40s. Though they seem to be growing old, the box office believes they are gold. Is this partly because of fact that Bolywood has lack of talent that can take over, Besides Ranbir nd Emraan who has shined basically in these years?! And these two cant take ove KHANS nd KUMAR!

Does this mean that the Khans and Kumar will romance even in their 50's ??

There is nothing wrong with leading actors being 40+ and still doing romantic roles. It's just that they should do more age-appropriate roles. Don't pretend to be 25 or 30 when you look 43 or something. And if the heroine is much younger, the film should acknowledge that there is an age gap. That's all.

With type of romantic roles they are playing, pretending to be 29 cool guy whatever it will be so embarrassing actually if they romance onscreen when they will be 55! Just imagine

As long as they do age appropriate roles its fine. Like Cheeni Kum was a mature love story. Sadly its the only example of age- appropriateness. Also the heroines should be atleast in 30s.

It's not Fault of Khans that they are Still ruling the Box office and Masses and Millions of Hearts . What to So ? In this 23 yrs Not a Single Actor could take their Place and Nor anyone would be able to do it according to me .

I third what Kal El and Somy said. I have no problems with older men or women romancing. As long as they play roles suitable for their age. They can play slightly younger men, but should not be playing youth or kids. And if they are romancing young women, then there should be an age gap in the script.

Bollywood needs to write better mature love stories or just scripts with well written older characters.
