I for the life of me could not understand why on earth did not Rashid speak ..what was he protecting ..the half truth is anyways out .. his family is already destroyed ...people are already at risk as being proved by attack on Dilshad ...it is all the more ridiculous when 30 minutes later he is anyways going to lose self control and attack Razia in full force( as seen in the pre cap) ...why did he not try to get some sane people on his side ( namely Dilshaad and Zoya) ...when he had the time ... they could have calmly thought about what to do next ...
Asad is currently drowning in his prejudices ..though I have to say he is not very misplaced..
Rashid has a misplaced logic ( and maybe male ego) that he is being a protector of his family ...he is completely and thoroughly ineffective as a protector and it is high time he got his reinforcements ...

@Victoriahot, great post! And I agree completely, especially with the foreshadowing of Zoya being the one shedding tears for the dead right there. Very poignant.

Cowardice is undoubtedly one of the most terrible vices and Rashid proved that today .Raziya migh be evil incarnate but in my eyes rashid is a bigger siinner .😡 I dont know how his charaacter can be redeemed ever ,just cause he is spineless everyone around him has to suffer About the precap i am betting that scene is rashid's dream , i would love to be proven wrong but i have no hopes from this guy😡

I agree that Rashid is the bigger sinner for being such a coward and ruining so many lives. You are how you let others treat you. If you don't respect yourself, nobody else will.

And I can bet anything that the precap is Rashid's dream. (I even mentioned that in one of the elated "OMG the precap" topics.) The guy doesn't have the balls to do something like that. I'll believe it only when I see it.

and I think wrote this earlier ...but it somehow got lost ...
Rashid is a coward yes ...but he is also a criminal
he is guilty of arson , even if he has not murdered anyone ...
and I still belive he committed adultery with Shireen, which is why Ayaan was born ...from what they have so far explained ...he got married to Shireen only later as a result of blackmailing by the siddiquis...
oh and BTW Vicky ... great, absolutely superlative post ...

@Tibs CoolFire.

I think we all have the same feeling right now. We know that Rashid is a good man but this Q.U.I.E.T of his has messed too much to be cleaned up. Just watch the repercussions now.

Good post, Victoria. I too find Rashid coward and dumb. I mean what will he gain by keeping mum now?? Asad has already seen him with the skeleton and accusing him of murder. So what is the point of keeping quiet when your son is already thinking the worst of you??

Anyways they wanted to created a mess, so be it!

Another point I did not understand, Rashid keeps on saying he is doing it to protect his family. Like Asad I too want to know which family? All I can see is he is trying to protect himself!
