Anandi was still crying. She couldn't decide what was more horrible- being away from Shiv or idiotically missing her last chance to talk to him before he left to bring back Ganga's baby. The police had received a call from rattan Singh's manservant revealing their location. Now all the cops had to do was ambush a sleeping rattan Singh and get Mannu back. When they informed Shiv of their plan, he decided to go along with them as he felt it was his personal responsibility to bring the child back. He had broken Ganga's trust once; he would not do it again. He called Anandi before leaving but she didn't take his call as she wanted to tell him that she loves him before anything else. But Shiv was in a hurry, so he left after telling Meenu about his mission. Poor Anandi reached home just as he was leaving. When Meenu told her where he was going, she was a little disappointed and very, very afraid. As she now lay on her bed with his photo clutched to her chest, her mind was envisioning one dreadful scenario after another. Shiv wasn't taking any calls which frightened her even more. She could not sleep at all.
The next morning, there was still no news of Shiv. Even Meenu and Sanchi were worried now. On Meenu's suggestion, they came to Badi Haveli as they thought maybe Bhairon or Basant could find out something about where Shiv was. Everyone in Badi Haveli got worried about Shiv too but no one could find out anything. Ganga felt very guilty as Anandi kept crying and no one could console her.
G: Anandi ji, aap na rovo. Collector sa jald hi laut aavenge. Mhane puro bharoso hai ki woh aur Mannu dono bilkul theek hai. Pichli baar aapne kahi thin a mhaare se ki main vishwas rakhu. Toh ab aap kayi aisa socho ho ki unhein kuch hua hoga? shaant ho jao aap.
Anandi hugs Ganga and feels a little better. Everyone is surprised that Ganga can find the courage to console Anandi when she herself must be worried about Mannu. Jagya is trying Shiv's phone constantly.
J: Hello, hello Shiv?
Everyone is excited that Shiv has finally picked up the phone. Anandi reaches out for it but Jagya shakes his head.
J: Acha, par woh theek toh hai na? Theek hai, hum abhi aate hai.
A: Kya hua Jagya? Shiv ne kya kaha? Tumne meri baat kyu nahi karvai?
J: Woh Shiv ka phone Inspector Sahab ne uthaya tha. Mannu mil gaya hai… aur…
G: Mhara lalla mil gayo? Collector sa leke aave hai kya use?
A: Jagya, tum kya chhupa rahe ho? Shiv ka phone kisi aur ne kyu uthaya? Bolo Jagya!
J: Humein hospital jaana hoga. Woh sab wahi jaa rahe hai.
G: Haspatal kayi? Mhara Mannu theek toh hai na?
J: Mannu theek hai.. par Shiv..
Anandi senses in her heart that something is horribly wrong. She collapses. Ganga and Jagya catch hold of her.
J: Anandi! Shiv ko chot lagi hai.. par woh theek hai.. sab theek ho jayega..
Anandi runs out. Everyone follows her. She's waiting in the jeep. When they reach the hospital, she rushes in. She sees Lal Singh standing outside a room. She enters, completely ignoring Lal Singh. She feels like her breath has come back to her and her heart is flying when she sees that Shiv is lying on the bed with a child in his arms. He's tickling and cooing at the baby who is obviously Mannu. Seeing Anandi at the door, he gives Mannu to the nurse who had come to bandage his head.
S: (smiling) Anandi! Meri delivery successful hui! Ladka hua hai..! Haha haha…
Anandi runs across the room and hugs him tight. Shiv is completely shocked and his laughter dies in his throat. The nurse smiles and takes Mannu out. Anandi could hear the joyous sound of Ganga being reunited with her son but she pays no attention to it. She begins to cry in earnest. Before Shiv can say or do anything, she begins to punch him with her tiny fists.
A: Aap aisa kaise kar sakte ahi? Aapki chinta mein main pagal ho rahi thi aur-
S: I'm sorry Anandi, main aapko contact nahi kar paaya… par ab toh sab theek hai na..
A: (positively livid) Sab theek hai? Aapko itni chot lagi hai! Aap khud ko kya samajhte hai? Koi Superman hai aap? Aapko kya zarurat thi apni jaan jokhim main daalne ki. Aapko meri koi chinta nahi hai! Aapko kuch ho jaata toh main toh mar jaati!
S: Anandi! Aap please aisa mat kahiye.. aapne bhi toh mera phone nahi uthaya.. main aapse baat karna chahta tha..
A: (blushing) woh main aapse phone par baat nahi karna chahti thi.. Mujhe aapse kuch kehna tha.. (she looks up, into his eyes) woh..
Everyone enters the room. Shiv and Anandi spring apart. Everyone gushes over Shiv and Ganga thanks him bringing her son back. Jagya checks Shiv's wounds and discharges him. He offers to drop the Shekhars home as they had left their driver behind in a hurry to get to the hospital. On the way back, Anandi's every attention is turned to Shiv. Meenu is very happy to see her concern. Sanchi and Ganga are playing with Mannu. Suddenly, Jagya applies the brakes.
A: Jagya! Theek se gaadi chalao na! Mere Shiv ko lag jaati toh?
Everyone is surprised to see Anandi's anger while Shiv grins looking at her 'teacher ji' avatar.
J: Sorry Anandi, woh actually tumhara ghar aa gaya hai.
A: Oh! (Feeling very embarrassed) Acha.. par phir bhi khayal rakho…
J: Main dhyan rakhunga..
The Shekhars get off after thanking Jagya. While driving away, Jagya thinks to himself that Anandi is completely in love with Shiv.
G: Anandi ji kitna pyar kare hai Collector sa ko! (She bites her tongue) Maaf karo mhare ko Doctor sa, mhare ko aisa nahi kehna chahiye tha.
J: Nahi Ganga, yeh toh koi bhi dekh sakta hai ki woh dono ek dusre se pyar karte hai.. woh dono ek dusre ke liye hi bane hai.. (sighs)
In Shiv and Anandi's room at Circuit House:
A: Shiv, ab aap so jaiye. Aapko aaram ki zarurat hai. Kal raat se soye na hai aap.
S: Waise soye toh aap bhi nahi hongi na?
A: Aap mujhe aise pareshan karenge toh main kaise soungi? Main ab bhi aapse naraaz hu.
S: I'm really sorry.. Waise aap hospital main kuch keh rahi thi na?
A: (blushing) Haan woh.. woh meri saheli hai na.. woh jise pyar hua hai.. use aaj hi I love you bolna tha.. toh maine usse kaha ki woh jis ladke se pyar karti hai, woh unse kahe ki uski kisi saheli ko pyar ho gaya hai aur nakli saheli ki aad mein woh apni dil ki baat keh de..
Shiv's eyes wide, he's not quite that dumb. Is she really saying what he thinks she's saying!
S: Anandi…!
She can see the realization in his face. She feels very shy and she lies down next to him and sleeps on his shoulder. Shiv stares at his wife who is blushing like a tomato and pretending to sleep. He shakes her gently.
S: Anandi…
A: Anandi so rahi hai..
S: Mujhe pata hai ki aap so nahi rahi hai..
A: Acha mhare detective bheendh sa, aapko kaise pata? Meri band aankhon ki hulchul se?
S: (chuckles) Nahi.. Mujhe pata hai ki aap nahi soyi hai kyunki aap majhse baat kar rahi hai!
A: (blushing) Woh mujhe neend mein baat karne ki beemari hai..
S: Oh really! Toh neend mein hi bol dijiye jo aap kehna chahati hai aur main sunna chahata hu…
A: I love you, my Superman..
And immediately Anandi begins to snore like a tractor, in a really fake way. Quite un-subtle. Shiv laughs with joy and hugs her tight.
S: I love you too, Anandi.
A: (In teacher ji mode) Aap baat hi karenge ya soyenge bhi? (She hugs him tighter)
S: (Chuckling) Yes Ma'am!
Anandi smiles as Shiv kisses her forehead and whispers goodnight in her ear.
