North Kolkata's Amherst Street had some unlikely visitors on Tuesday. A tall and handsome man dressed in a 'bloodstained' white safari suit was seen dashing out of a narrow alley. It looked as if he was being chased. Quickly, he entered the safety of a lodge.

Wednesday, 20th February 10:45 AM IST

No, it was not North Kolkata of the 70s and the man in question was no rebel but Arjun Kapoor shooting for his next film "Gunday". The nondescript guesthouse, which had a board hanging on the door marking it as 'Central Boarding House', was the first location of the shooting schedule.

The shooting started around 10.30am. To avoid any untoward incident, a large number of security personnel were deployed and the area was cordoned off.

The Yash Raj production stars Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Irrfan Khan in lead roles and is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Although the rest of the crew is already in the city, Priyanka is supposed to arrive on Thursday as the shooting for the next two days have been cancelled due to a statewide strike.

I try hard to like this guy.. but for some odd reason can't like him at all..

he is a good actor..i actually think he had the trickiest role out of all the four debutants..Sid..Varun..and Ayushman..but one of teh main reason of his lack of fanbase is his ofscreen persona..he is very dead..and alwys looks drunk..ofccourse i knw he has been through a lot...but he need 2 cheer up..atleast in fron of teh camera..bcs if u see Sid..VD and Ayush..thy r alwyws very lively or atleast smiley...ur representing the youth so u shud act like tht,,😕

The article says thursday but Apparently Priyanka's there already as tweeted by the director and Arjun and PC are filming a song today .. BengaliStyle

that is exactly why I can't like him even when I so want to.. the guy can act.. is not as wooden as some of the new comers.. but him constantly looking like a devdas is a putoff coz its like he wants to gain sympathy through his personal life.. which maybe true or not.. but with B'wood peeps I cannot believe they r as seedha as they portray themselves to be..

all of the debutants wwere good...even the ones u call wooden...who is Sid i m guessing...bcs their characters were "wooden"..and thy had 2 b broodin...not their fault anywys wonder why he is soo popular and ppl including critics say HE CAN ACT despite fo him bein "wooden"...maybe all those 100 ppl r wrong and blind?😃...anywys...its not ur fault...some random idiot used this term and i guess..it got spreaded..Sid if ur listening pls do some OTT muscle moving next time..😆..
