I honestly do not understand the character of Anushka Sarkar.
Let me get this clear first - I'm strictly talking about the character. The actress has done a fantastic job portraying it and it's been a good journey. However, you can only stretch an elastic band a certain distance before it snaps.
Time. Is. Up!
It's come to a point where I think even the writers do not understand her character, her story, her intentions... She's clearly mentally unstable and should be behind bars for her previous MURDERS, yet she's roaming free? How? What on EARTH is going on?! It's quite irritating.
I'm guessing the writers/producers fear that they will have little scope to run the show on if they get rid of her character... But I disagree!!
The show has enough content to work on, with the newer entries (Bulbul, Vihaan, Rano) and Mona's struggles raising her kids, Mona's relationship with Jatin developing, perhaps even Vineet's re-entry etc... there'd even be Anushka's own daughter, Ankita, still around... Thus, they really do NOT need to unnecessarily drag Anushka Sarkar's presence on the show.
It's not ALWAYS necessary to have a villain/vamp in a story. At least, not when you've run out of ideas/justifications for that character.
For the betterment of the story and show, I think it's high time Anushka Sarkar's character bids goodbye - we need closure with her.
