I'm single. I'm not in the frame of mind to be in a relationship. I get too involved when I'm in a relationship. I don't know whether it's a problem or a good thing. But I don't know how to be with someone and not be attached. I'm in a phase in my career where I feel I may not be able to do justice to both - my relationship and my career. My career is going well. I don't want anything to take away from that. I've met too many interesting people in the last six months. But I haven't given it a chance. And I feel sad about it because every girl feels complete in a relationship. You want love, you want that one person you can depend upon, who you can talk to, complain to, who you can nag. At least I'm that kind of person. If I get into that space again, it'll take away from my work. I'm so driven about my career that I may not be able to give the person my complete attention. So it would be unfair to both.

If that's what everyone is talking about then so be it. That's not going to change my equation with him. He's a wonderful person. He has the ability to walk into a room and make you feel like you're the most important person in the world. And it's not just with people he knows. He could be meeting someone for the first time and make him feel like they're best friends. That's God given. That's why he gets so much love. We're in a similar space in terms of our age, where we're coming from in our lives. There's a lot of similarity between us, he doesn't come from a film background. He's also relatively new to the industry. We have a great time together. He makes me laugh a lot. He makes me feel special. That's it. If I'm in a relationship, I'll talk about it.

I've always believed, given my experience and I could be wrong, that no third person can ever come in between two people. There must be something wrong between the two that has caused them to not be together. I'm not talking about them. I'm talking about relationships in general. I'm talking from my own experience. You can't blame a third person. Because if everything is okay with your relationship and if the two people really really want to be together then no one can come in between them. I think they were a beautiful couple. I don't know what they shared; I don't know what they share today. I'm someone who believes in love. It makes me happy when I see two people in love. Why they broke up, I don't know. But I would be happy if they got back.

Honestly, there's no change in the way I feel for her. If there's been a change in the way she feels for me then I don't know. She's someone I'm fond of and will always wish her well. I don't know whether she said something about me or whether she's been misquoted. If the equation between us has changed then I don't know why or when this has happened. I've always had a friendly equation with Anushka. I've known her since my modelling days. I've always been fond of her and still am.

I don't know how to mingle. It's black and white for me. It's all organic. I may think a lot of things today. But the heart does its own thing.
