Jeet and Anamika shoot for their wedding sequence

Actress Simran Kaur, who plays Anamika in 'Anamika', had a blast shooting for her wedding sequence with co-star Mudit Nayar aka Jeet recently.
While Hindus avoid Black Colour on auspicious occasions, Simran wore a black lehenga for her on-screen wedding. She says, "Since people associate Anamika with black, she will always be seen wearing dark colours." The on-screen wedding was a welcome relief for Simran. "This is my third on-screen wedding and is is the best so far. I hate heavy dresses, heavy jewellery and loud makeup. I am not an accessory person and honestly, I hate on-screen weddings as well. This time, I styled my wedding costume and the look. The lehenga was extremely light."
Mudit, on the other hand, not only found the wedding fun, but also tiring, and a little bit spooky. "It was a long sequence and I was drained out. Marrying a chudail is different and different is always good," he says.
Really? So, what if he realises he has married a chudail in real life? "If it were to happen in real life, I would run away," the actor admits.
It's no secret that Mudit gets spooked easily. In fact, Simran left no stone unturned to scare him. The shoot was at a temple in a secluded area and she shared a lot of spooky stories with Mudit, much to his horror. And how did he settle scores with her? By making fun of her weight. Simran's known to be sensitive about her weight and Mudit knows that's the best way to silence her.
Anamika airs at 8pm, Monday to Friday, on Sony Entertainment Television.
