Reading what others are saying about the Madhu doing films people seem to be having a problem with this not being Madhu's decision.
Perhaps RK's plan was for Madhu to face the media hounding her after their break up and not be able to find any beauty palour job as has happened but he had no intention for Bittuji to intervene and find her a job as a beautician. So Madhu out of work what would she do?
Then as she belongs to a film industry family she would like the other Maliks, Roma, Padmini, Trishna, Shamsher go looking for junior artist work then he could tell her, "Why not a senior artist, and find her a role as a heroine" after she herself had made the decision to do films because of money constraints, middle class bills piling up etc.
I'm remembering Padmini had a problem with being in the film industry too, she looked down on the industry initially but she said the film industry people have given me shelter and are looking after me, so far they are good people so my prejudice was wrong and she also joined, Madhu's fear of joining films is because she is a simple girl with simple dreams she doesn't want to be famous, however by marrying a superstar and having a break-up she has already acquired a minor fame, she can't rewind the clock... so had Bittuji not intervened and found her a beautician's position on the set, she would have gone into the industry as a junior artist most definitely because of her circumstances. What if that is what RK intended?
I can't help thinking RK calling out to Madhu on the set when he heard her cry of pain shows he still cares very much about her and would always be there for her. But perhaps he intended nature take it's course that he wouldn't force her as it's not her wish but he would see her enter as a junior artist then suggest a senior artist role or make one available for her, behind the scenes with a producer contact. Madhu would have started her new role as a senior artist, all the passionate dialogue delivery, crying and dancing (which she has been doing anyway already) and she would think to herself, this is alright I don't know why I was so against this to begin with, but it would have been her decision. Perhaps that's what RK intended.
As we can see he never found her anything after she left him, but the news is he wants her to join films, so perhaps he wanted her to choose herself after all that has happened to her, her inability to find other work, just the way Padmini fell into the industry, then he make a heroine role available to her, once she got comfortable later on.
