JUST IMAGINE IF....

i was reading HP6 when, it got strucked to me that what if Lily used to like snape and when james used to make fun oh him, she didn't like it at all. But Since Snape always called Lily a Mudblood and may b james came to know that lily like snape, he changed complately. This made Lily to like James from hating him.

And i also read that Snape actually is a good character. PLS post is u have additional information and ur reply.

well i dont think tht lily used to like snape but it can be the opposite may be snape liked lily but to annoy james he used to call her mudblood.

Well...I always thought it was all because of James and had nothing to do with Snape.

Maybe Lily had a crush on James during her initial school years and then...when he got arrogant and started getting that 'I'm so cool' attitude, she hated him....but yet she still had that crush on him...JKR hinted something like this
So maybe Lily defended Snape not coz of Snape but coz she wanted to put James down...coz he was being irritating and immature?

i think that snape liked lily so hated james because she married him so he told voldemort about the prophecy and stuff and asked voldy not to kill lily. (why would voldy tell lily to move, why wud he give her a chance to survive, like he cares) so then wen voldy killed lily snape felt bad so joined the right side and thats why dumbledore trusts him. and i think the only reason snape killed dumby was cos dumby told him too so that he good be a spy for the order and voldy wud trust him.

Yeah, that sounds probable..

When JKR was once asked why lily married james despite hating him she answered that she didn't really hate him and a woman should know that.😊

I agree completely except i think she was just good hearted so stood up for Snape as he had no friends and looked lonely😊

yea i agree wid taht..i mean she obviously(the way ppl talked about her) was nice so she stood up for snape.

snape's being a good character is still a fan-theory, no one really knows which side he'll turn into until book7


i dont think james changed completely after seeing snape in love with lily. James already have had the good natures in him, afterall he is in the G.House :p . James risked his life and saved snape from Lupin-the-warewolf risking his own life. After he started dating with lily, he didnt jinxed snape anymore, maybe because lily didnt like him doing it and he didnt want to upset her. Who'd wanna upset his gf by doing something she forbade 😛
