Kristina Akheeva's a Kareena Kapoor fan!

Like other models in B-Town, Kristina Akheeva's here to try her luck in the Indian film industry. She makes her debut in Yamla Pagla Deewana 2and will be paired opposite Sunny Deol.

Kristina's working hard on her Hindi and polishing her acting skills to make it in Bollywood. "Hindi is easier than what I imagined. I memorized the lines and the writer made sure I understood everything. I could remember quite well and I got the film very quickly. I didn't have time to really learn Hindi. Initially I had a teacher and during the filming, I had a ready script", says Kristina.

Although not many former models have been successful, Kristinacomes with a positive attitude. " I don't want to look at other people's success or failures and I don't want to put myself in any category. I hope for the best really. The industry is opening up to foreigners and it's a perfect time for firangis in Bollywood".

Kristina may not be too familiar with Hindi films but she's already got her favourites! After working with the Deols, Kristina looks forward to Kareena Kapoor's work. "I'm a big fan of Kareena Kapoor. I think she's a fabulous actress. She brings a whole lot of performance top her acting than just the glamour quotient. It's the same for Vidya Balan. She's a fantastic performer and actress".
