I have to disagree but working women has it much harder than housewives..The only way housewives have it hard is if they are living in a joint family and are rules by their mother in laws.which will be their fault for being an overworked mother..My working hrs are 8:30-3pm.My co-worker used to reach at 8:15 am and never leave work until 4:30pm..she is working for her salary, she also stops and buys the vegetables and groceries items on her way home.when she reaches home she has to cook dinner for her kids and husband.on a saturday and sunday her she not only have to do the house chores ,cook three meals but also do her office work for monday morning.Originally posted by: Visha_Dhami
^^ I agree but what i said was based on what i generally observed with my mum being a housewife. Her situation used to be similar like Neelam with her sister in laws going to work and her MIL often look down on my mother just because her daughter's go to work. And i lived in my auntie's house and guess what she does? She wakes up and goes to work and be back by 6pm and go to bed by 8pm while her husband cooks. And if asked why she doesn't does any work? She says because she is tired and she is going to work. Not sitting at home and shaking her leg 😕
And if just say a person has family problems, i think that we who go to work have other things to divert our thoughs, meet and share our problems with our colleagues. But a person who stays at home keeps it to herself and think about it. Of course working wives are no way lesser than housewives but i feel that housewifes are often not given their due.
