I would give Varun 0/10 in romance: Rajeshwari

I would give Varun 0/10 in romance: Rajeshwari
Touted as one of the iconic couples of small screen, Rajeshwari and Varun have carved a niche with their impeccable acting and hard hitting roles, both on big and small screen.

In a candid chat, bindaas bala Rajeshwari talks about how unromantic Varun is, their married life so far and happy marriage mantra.

Is Varun a romantic person off screen?
No, not at all. Even a bit of romance that was there before marriage has vanished now. I would rather give him 0/10 when it comes to romance.

What brought you closer to Varun in your intial days?
I think it was more of our background that gave us chance to talk about lots. We had a lot in common, as people we were different but our mindset, views and opinions were the same. So we gelled well. You need to give respect and space in a relationship and we did that so we sailed our love boat smoothly.

Apart from that, I have always admired Varun for his hardwork and for the kind of professional he is.

Does it get difficult sometimes, considering you both are from showbiz industry? Has it worked as a boon or bane in your case?
We had our eyes and minds open when we started seeing each other. We knew and understood what benefits and disadvantages are there when you marry in same work field. So we have always made our way around. We don't fight over unneccesary issues or crib over not being able to spend much time together. We know that whatever we are doing is for us and our child so these trivial issues never rise up.

Do you feel romance takes a backseat after few years of marriage or once you have kids?
I think the passion you have at 16 is not going to be there at 30. Meaning of romance changes with age, you become mature and understand things and life better. We don't try to impress each other now but we of course love each other. We don't crib over how much time we used to spend together or what we used to do for each other. You can't keep living in the past. We just cherish the time we get to spend together. And I think that's what our idea of romance is now- spending time together with our son, talking to each other, going for quiet dinners when we get time.

What's your happy marriage mantra?
Communicate. Don't keep things to yourselves because it leads to misunderstandings. If you can't talk just text but put your point across at the very moment. I do the same whenever I feel I have to say something and I can't connect my call, I just text. It brings transparency in a relationship. We leave no space for confusions or notions.

And also, don't live in the past. If you can't leave your past you can never create new memories. So crib less and cherish more.

Out of all the roles he's played both on big and small screen, which is your favourite? His role and acting in CHARAS bowled me over. I loved him in the movie. Apart from that I think,AEK CHAABHI PAROSS MEIN was simple yet wonderful.

So how are you going to celebrate Valentine's Day?
We hardly get time to be together. When I see him after three to four days, that day becomes a Valentine's Day for us. So this year also if he'll be at home we would go out for dinner perhaps.

Rajashwari...Don't say he is not so romantic...better u see PSH .😆

I give u one advice that romance in serials(tellyworld) and real life is different.😊

If u want some romance then ask VB to dance with u for the song"O Re Piya"😆
