Chotti Ma was very happy to see Anandi so excited about meeting Shiv, she wanted to pull her leg some more, 'Mujhe pata nahin tha, maine to pappu ko bhej diya, khana ke saath' CM says, 'Oh...koi baat nahin', a disappointed Anandi says, she turns around to go back to her room, when CM calls out, 'tum bahar jaane wali thi na, to ab kamre mein kahan ja rahi ho?', 'Nahin, wo main bas, kuch nahin CM, main baad mein chali jaoongi' CM hides a smirk and says, 'Ye kya, Pappu abhi tak tum yahin ho?' Anandi turns around, 'Pappu, aap rehne dijiye, main khana le jaati hoon' she says, she grabs the tiffin from Pappu and runs out of the house before CM can think of any new plans to deter her, as she flees the house, she can hear CM giggling in the background and talking loudly, 'kya ho gaya hain ye ladki ko, deewani jaise bartaav kar rahi hain.'
Anandi thinks, 'Deewani'..kitna sahi kaha CM ne, main to Shiv ke pyaar ki deewani ho gayi hoon. It suddenly starts to get dark and cloudy, 'Oh No, I hope it doesn't rain before I reach the office' Anandi quickens her steps and half running and half panting reaches the office just in time as it starts to thunder and pour.
Bhim Singh was out on an errand. Without looking up from the papers he was going through, Shiv says, 'Pappu, khana le aye ho kya, bahut zoron ki bhook lagi hain, jaldi laga do. Aur zara bahar darwaza band kar dena, barish bahut zoron se ho rahi hain, office ke andar tak paani aa jayega.' Anandi quietly goes out and closes the door and lays the table with the food. As Anandi waits for Shiv to come out, he gets busy with a call, Anandi quietly takes the plate with her inside his office and perches herself on the side of his table and holds out a morsel of food in front of his mouth, 'Main quotes dekh raha...', Shiv looks up and stops what he is about to say as his eyes widen at the sight in front of him. Minutes pass by as he stares at the ethereal beauty in front of him and forgets everything around, Anandi pushes the food into his wide open mouth and points toward the phone'. 'Main baad mein phone karta hoon apko...kuch zaroori kaam aa gaya hain, Mishraji.' He hangs up and gets up from his chair, coming close to her and says, 'mujhe nahin pata tha Pappu itna sundar lagne laga hain...' Shiv jokes. 'Dhat, main kya aapko Pappu dikhayi de rahi hoon', Anandi chides. 'Roz to mujh per itna meherban nahin hoti aap, Pappu se hi kaam chalana padta hain, aaj is tarah mujhe office mein aakar mujhe distract karne ka karan pooch sakta hoon?' 'Kyon CS, aap ki biwi ko aap se milna ho to kya appointment leni padegi? Kuch zaroori baat karni thi, official hain, mujhe abhi abhi kuch dino pehle hi pata chali hain, is se aapka kaafi fayda ho sakta hain.' Anandi turns around, facing her back to him trying to hide her nervousness. 'Accha, to kahiye, kya pata chala hain aapko?'
'Aap pehle khana to kha lijiye, kaafi der ho chuki hain', 'theek hain, to khilaiye' Shiv teases, 'Kyon CS, main nahin jaanti thi ki Pappu roz aapke liye khana lata hi nahin, khilata bhi hain', she giggles. Shiv swiftly comes close to her, holding her hand he asks her softly, 'bahut hansi aa rahi hain aako, khana to khilana hi padega, warna main nahin khaoonga'. Anandi is suddenly conscious of his proximity and tries to wriggle out of his hold not because it scares her but because it sends shivers down her spine. He was awakening new feelings inside of her, feelings she had long forgotten, feelings she had suppressed within her, she was enjoying his touch and his breath on her face. Seeing her quickened breath, Shiv lets go of her and goes back to his serious mode. 'Sorry, main woh mujhe aisa nahin karna chahiye tha', says Shiv pulling back, 'nahin, rukiye na, maine aap se kuch kaha to nahin, phir kyon aap apne aap ko rok rahe hain'.'Anandi responds. She feeds him the next morsel of food, which he eats eagerly. Thoroughly enjoying being fed, Shiv finishes his food and lets a soft burp escape his mouth'. 'Sorry, but khana itna achha tha ki raha nahin gaya, to kya zaroori baat karni thi aapko? Kya pata chala hain apko?' Anandi gets all coy and starts to play around with her pallu, looking at her sandals, not knowing how to tell Shiv what was on her mind, 'come on Anandi, just say it'..she tells herself. 'woh main...yeh kehne ayi th...'..' she stammers, 'ke main...aapne meetha to khaya hi nahin. Saachi ne yaad dilaya ki aaj Valentine's Day hain na, to maine khaas apke liye aaj, internet main recipe dhoondh ke, cake banaya hain, decoration ke saath...', Shiv is all confused, she puts the cake in front of him and runs out of the room, there on the cake, in red icing he reads the words that he had been waiting to hear from Anandi, 'I love you Shiv.' It takes a while for it to register, he then runs out to the waiting room and finds her looking out the window at the rain lashing the ground, his arms circle her waist from behind, he softly whispers into her ears, 'Pata hain na apko ki main yeh sunne ke liye kitna betaab aur bechain tha, to ab mujhe dekh kar kahiye, jo baat aap kehna chahti thi', she turns around to see a tear escape his eye, she reaches up and kisses the tear away, looking into his eyes, overwhelmed by the love that she sees in them, she says, 'I love you Shiv. Pata hi nahin chala kab aap mere dil me bas gaye..please mujhe kabhi chod ke mat jana, kabhi nahin, main aapke bina jee nahin paoongi.' Shiv pulls her into his arms and hugs her and kissing the top of her head says 'Kabhi nahin, aap chahengi to bhi nahin, bas yahin qaid kar ke rakhoonga aapko, mere dil mein!' The rain lashes away in the background, oblivious to the storm that it has brewed within the two souls locked in each others arms.
