Chapter 24

On the other hand Rathore was feeling very guilty for having shouted at her. Belatedly he remembered his promise to Arjun.

Shaina had been crying for a long time in the bathroom. She couldn't deal with this pain anymore. She felt so defeated, in truth she had completely given up in ever making Rathore fall in love with her. Nothing she tried was working, sometimes she even re-created a few scenes when they fell in love, but still Rathore didnt remember anything. He never even felt anything for her anymore. She had finally decided to leave this house once for all. She needed some time to gather up more courage and decide what to do now. As time was passing, all her hopes were diminishing. She however thought that before going she'd better meet Arjun and Riya first. She wanted to wish them all the love and happiness and then she'd leave. She wiped her tears and decided to go for some shopping to forget her pain for some time. She dressed up and left her room. When she came out of her room, she was shocked to see Rathore leaning on the wall opposite of her door. Rathore had been waiting for a long time in the corridor. He felt that he needed to apologise for his outburst, but the problem was that he didnt know what to say and felt a bit nervous to talk with her. So he was practising his apology, when suddenly the door opened and Shaina came out. Though she had done her make-up very well, he could see that her eyes were swollen and that she had been crying a lot. Shaina paused for a few seconds waiting for Rathore to say anything, but when after a few seconds he still hadn't said anything, she shrugged her shoulders and just went away. Rathore had been so confused on how to ask sorry, that when she was in front of him, no words came out of his mouth. He watched helplessly as Shaina just left him and went away. "Shit!" he said, "no problem at night i'll ask her sorry!" he thought to himself and also went away.

Shaina's heartbeat calmed a bit after leaving the house. She had been surprised at seeing Rathore, but when he hadn't said anything, she had felt a sudden anger and hurt that she had run away before her eyes would filled up again.

"Not anymore! I wont think about Rathore today! I'll try to smile and laugh and be myself today!" she said to herself. However, since she reached the shopping mall, she felt being observed. But since she was a model, she didnt pay any attention to this. She was walking along a corridor when suddenly someone grabbed her and took her out through an emergency exit.

She was going to shout when she saw who it was, "Tum?" completely surprised.

She tried to release herself, but suddenly two big men came towards her, and she felt something being put on her nose and she lost consciousness. That person removed a burka from a bag, and made Shaina wear it, and then they all carried her away from the mall, by saying that their friend had fainted. No one even thought to inquire if it was true or not.

And it wasn't till in the morning when Trishna went to see Shaina that Rathore came to know that Shaina never returned that night. He had already called Arjun, and he knew that they be here at the earliest. But he couldn't just sit and wait for them. He had already called Shree and Chotu, and now he decided to go to office to help them too. Maybe they'd have enough clues or even find Shaina before Arjun and Riya returned. Maybe Shaina was just staying at her friend's place and he was getting worried for nothing he thought.

In the meantime, elsewhere in a beach house...

Arjun hated to be waking Riya up by saying such things, but he had to do it. he went towards her, put his hand on her shoulder and said softly, "Riya, please utho!" he shook her gently, but instead of getting up, Riya snuggled even more in the covers and slept. He shook her again, but nothing Riya was sleeping like a baby. He smiled seeing her like this, but unfortunately they couldn't waste time here now. So he shouted a bit to make her wake up, and like expected Riya woke up. She sat up on the bed, and looked around her. Her eyes then fell on Arjun and she remembered everything that happened last night. And she just blushed when she looked in Arjun's eyes. However when she looked in Arjun's eyes, she could see that Arjun was worried. She immediately threw the bed covers and stood.

"Kya huwa?" she asked a bit scared now.

"Kahin aap iss liye pareshan nahin ho, about what happened yesterday night?" she asked while feeling shy about even mentioning it.

Arjun gave Riya a warm smile when he realised just what Riya was thinking. He took her in his arms, made her rest her head on his chest and said, "Ssshhh. Yeh kya keh rahi ho! I'll never regret any moments passed with you? What about you?"

Riya nestled closer in his arms and said, "Neither will i ever regret anything! But then why are you worried?"

Arjun tightened his grip on her and told her everything that Rathore told him during the call.

Riya pushed Arjun away from her and said, "Kya? Shaina is missing? Aur aap ab keh rahe hein!" She immediately rushed to get dress and within five minutes she was ready to go back. They both left the beach house with a heavy heart, but they were also worried about Shaina.

Rathore had just parked his car and was going to go in the office, when suddenly he heard someone calling him. He could recognise that voice anywhere. He didnt need turn but to be sure, he turned anyway to look at the person calling him.

He froze when he saw who was standing in front of him.

"Sameer, been a very very long time. Hope you are not still angry at me sweetie," a very lovely lady said with pouting lips.

"Simran?" he said angrily.

Simran walked in her cat-walk steps towards him and raised her hand to caress his cheek. But before she could touch him, he slapped her hand away.

"Yeh kya bakwas hein?" Rathore said looking in a disgusted way at her.

"oh come on Rathore, kitna waqt beat gaya humein bichre hoowe! I had thought that you'd get over that break-up, but nope!" Simran said.

So everyone introducing Rathore's ex girlfriend, the famous model Simran...
