^ Do you say that after watching PLL, or after reading the descriptions?

Here's a PLL influence mangled, distorted and completely morphed.

PLL: The PLLs enter a novelty shop/doll store, and a voice says, clearly, "Follow me, end up like me"- and they see a recreation of Alison's 'murder' scene, with a bloodstained Alison doll holding a shovel, standing in a grave, saying the line.

BFF: The Tattoo Man leaves behind a pizza at Sanju's house, with a 'free gift'- an innocuous, cute doll, which when pressed, says "I'm ready, do you wanna play with me?" - an innocuous message. That same message is played by Tattoo Man near Ella, on a tape recorder- possibly giving a hint that tapes can be reversed.

We can expect that kind of adaptation here.

Besides, the content of the PLL books is different from that of the PLL TV show.

hmmm thtz also ryt!!!!!/...but we seem to get some hint ryt!!!!!!!!!!!

yup i had watched pll...and even read the the story...so spencer cant be sanju sas spencer is the most involved among the liar while...here sanju is least over here

and spencer was the hottie of the group and had a envy feeling for alison

here also ella is the hottie and she hates varun the most!!

LOL Spencer was never the hottie of the group! Spencer is the brainiac whose life is pretty much school - like Sanjana.

Ela is the hottie of the group, like Hanna was in the PLL.

hottie in sense she was very particular about her looks and envied alison...
hmmm but in a way i u r ryt...ella is not totally like spencer just her intensity of guilt is like ella...and neither is sanju completely like spencer cuz shes not even aware of the crime comitted

so we really cant compare both the stries cus BFF'S is not a copy of PPL

it just HIGHLY INSPIRED from the pll

p.s...i used too watch it long bak...so i cud be wrong i have mainly read the book so picturised her as 1 diva kind of material as she always was described very particular about her looks {jus like ella}
