Waiting impatiently for the next part, from your 1st Chapter Riya seemed in pain and heartbroken, i hope your story has a happy ending like the book Arjun gifted Riya😃

Chapter 6

Recap:

Both Arjun and Riya spend a sleepless night thinking about each other. While Riya was more worried with Arjun's safety whereas Arjun had no idea about Riya leaving the country.

The young girl who had slept of reading Riya's diary woke up furiously with sweat beads accumulated heavily on her forehead. She quickly washed her face and came back to her desk she flicked through some pages, stopping at a particular page. She glanced through the whole page 'Damm. It's exactly like I visualised' she said out loud.

'How do I know this I mean seriously.' She said out once again. The young lady glanced at her engagement ring that quickly grabbed her attention with her shine.

While quickly she resumed reading it further.

Riya was definitely saddened about the situation where she couldn't talk or contact Arjun, but a desperateness had got into her.

On the other hand, Arjun reached home the very next day. As soon as he reached his room the first thing he did was charge his phone in order to talk to Riya. He had a sudden eagerness to talk to her. A weird feeling was taking over him as his cell started charging. He immediately turned it on as the battery had slowly reached upto 5% he sighed and waited for his cell to hurry up.

His screen read '40 missed calls' '10 messages' Arjun smiled as thought all of them to be from Riya.

He clicked the browse on the missed calls to find 30 of them from Riya where as 5 were from Rish and the rest from his other friends.

Arjun got worried as he saw Rishi's missed calls, getting Riya's missed calls were fine but why him Arjun thought deeply. He quickly checked the 10 messages he had received. Few were from Riya...and the other few were from a person who had long lost. A long lost friend, However, he focused more on Riya.

Message 1 (The very old one..) Riya

'I miss you too jaan, wish you could have stayed for few more days.'

Message 2 (Riya)

Aaarey baba jaldi jaldi reply karo yaar, I'm missing you badly..

Message 3 (Riya)

Arjunnn aare you there? Yuhuuu so gaye kya? Itni jaldi I dnt think so.

Message 4 (Riya)
Look dear you're scaring me damnnn mera balance low hai I can only call you after 2 more texts. I misss youuu and I love you<3<3

Dear, I'm sorry for hurting you so badly which I really didn't mean to do it but hogaya mai kya karti I had to leave you without saying a word as I knew you would be hurt. I'm back now, hope we can meet up soon and cherish our old times and once again be together.

This messaged had crashed all of Arjun's feelings, his hands were shivering, his face became pale. But somehow he got the courage to move on to next message.

Message 7 (Rish)

Arjun, Please contact Riya, myself or Sanju asap. V.important.

Message 8 (Riya)

Dekho tum mujhe dara rahe ho its been 12 hours since we last contacted. Why are you scaring me like this dear. Mujhse baat karo. I miss you badly *sobs

Message 9 (Rathore)

Oye Juno, kaisa hai tu? I heard tu Mumbai gaya tha kya yaar you could have informed me na I was in Mumbai too. Actually my sister was back from states isliye Mumbai gaya tha mai..

Miss kar diya yaar tujhe. Chal koi baat nahi I'll be coming down to Delhi for college tour.

Nothing much reply soon.

Message 10 (Rish)

There's something I need to tell you asap. I wont be able to text it isliye call me whenever you get a free time. I don't have any balance left so I'm messaging from his. I hope I'm not interrupting you.

Arjun hit his palm on his head as he read all the messages one by one. He fell backwards on his bed thinking about the messages he received. 'Hope Riya is fine' he mumbled, slowly dozing off to sleep.

There Riya was all ready to leave her house towards the airport. She waited and waited for one text message or even just a missed call but there was nothing. She rung Arjun but as his cell was on silent he couldn't hear it. The cell kept on vibrating but he was least bothered as he was off to sleep.

But the call was received by Arjuni. 'Hi di, its me Arjuni here' informed Arjun's little sister.

'Hi sweety, how are you? Voh so raha hai kya?' Riya questioned with curiosity.

'Di, how do you know he's sleeping?' she interrogated with a smile stuck on her face.

'Voh, I don't know I just maybe know him too well' Riya playfully said. 'Did you want me to wake him'..' before Arjuni could complete Riya interrupted 'No sweetheart its fine, voh raat ko soya nahi hoga na' she paused as Arjuni's smile widened and Riya could easily hear it through her replies.

'Just give my message to him, I'm going back to states today, I had thought of talking to him but I guess its not going to happen anytime soon' 'Sure di, I'll let bhaiya know'

'Btw di, thank you so much for the lovely purse I loved it to core. Thank you so muchh I wish I could have met you I love you''

'Awww Arjuni, I wish your brother would have brought you anyways I've to leave my flight's on schedule, Takecare and I love ya too' replied Riya before she hung up.

At the airport after the call

Riya sideways hugged Rish and later hugged Sanju before she left to board her flight.

Riya boarded her flight, and flew back to states.

Whereas Arjun was left desperate, he had no choice but to wait until Riya safely reaches her new destination. When he woke up it was too late to call her, so there was nothing else to do other than wait.

Meanwhile he called his bestfriend Sam, who he had studied till 12th. They shared and lived in hostel together but they had to split up as their courses were different after 12th and different college accepted them. Though their future was together their current fate had split them to make their friendship stronger than normal.

Three days since Riya's departure from INDIA.

Riya reached states safely, she settled in her room. She still had a month to spend alone as her college wouldn't resume until then.

She sat there upset, but happy that a big wish came true i.e seeing the person she loved from all her heart. A person who loved her and who is her need. He needed her to survive that's what Riya always thought. She excitedly turned her laptop on.

Searched all the Social networking sites they were friends on if she received a message from him but there was none. Her face immediately saddened but soon she found an offline message for her.

'Sweetheart, I hope you're fine. Mujhe bata ke jati pagal ladki I miss talking to you. I miss you badly. Contact me once you would be free Love you loads'

Riya's lips immediately curved into a smile.

She called up Arjun, and waked him up who was currently back to his college hostel too..

'Hmmm' sone do na jaan' requested Arjun.

'Aarey remember me? Riya shouted.

'You reached there? Hw are you I missed you muah' Arjun excitedly said with his eyes wide opened. He quickly whispered I thought I was dreaming😆

He was happy, and relieved to hear from her after 3 long days.

'You don't know how difficult it was to pass every single minute without you jaan' Please come back soon' Arjun requested.

'I want to as well, I miss you badly' Riya replied.

Their international conversation went on for an hour until Riya's balance was over, then they soon met online once again cherishing their first love talk they had done a month ago.

It was almost 10 months since their friendship had begun and they were having a gala time being together. Even though their relation was secretive it was still real, a relation that carried no promises, no future commitments, no burdens other than being there for each other.

Riya always had waited for a commitment but never got one, but she was never disappointed with the relation she had with Arjun. It was simply pure.

Another few months passed by with Ariya's 1st meeting anniversary successfully celebrated by both<3

But Ariya's talks were lessened in the due course, due to Arjun's exams, secondly when he was free she had exams.

Both followed a new trend of leaving a message each morning for each other when suddenly Riya had an urge to talk to Arjun as she felt weird vibes brewing up inside her.

Riya called Arjun couple of times but there was no answer from him, he was in a dilemma of weather to inform Riya or not. Finally few days later, Arjun left a serious message, 'Baby I want to talk to you I just have to' said Arjun.

Ariya met online on web chat 'Dekho I want to tell you something very important'

'Haan bolo I'm ready to hear it' said Riya.

'Sweets, I don't think this is going to work, we might not have a future together.' Arjun said looking everywhere but Riya.

Riya had moist eyes, 'Aarey but you were coming here na?'

'Ya I would still be coming there, actually the reason is I'm stuck between you and Rosh'' before Arjun could continue it Riya said 'Roshni'.she'.is...back??' Riya's voice was breaking as she said the whole sentence.

'You know what you're are right, we have no future together, moreover I can live without you but Roshni won't be able to dear' Riya stated trying to hold herself and her emotions together.

'How can you say that, I love you not Roshni..I mean I did love her but now I love you. You are my need' ' begged Arjun.

'Jaan...I mean Arjunn please don't make it difficult for me, Roshni needs you remember she's your first love, I'm sure tum mujh mai usse dhundte the.' Riya sternly said.

'Nahiii' I agree jitne bhi ladkiyon ko maine date kiya after Roshni left me I agree I tried finding Roshni in them' Par tum you were different I never searched for Roshni or her qualities in you. I just love the way you are.' Arjun begged' and continued 'I LOVE you for what you are damnnn it''

'Stop lying Arjun, stop running away' 'I know you always loved Roshni though you never mentioned her in our talks.' Riya tried to justify herself and her answer.

Arjun didn't listen to her, he kept on apologizing but Riya cared less. 'I don't want anyone hurt because of me samjhe' 'You loved Roshni first and Roshni loved you first too, so its her who you should be with not me please' Riya begged, 'Arjun tumhe meri kasam hai please go back to Roshni, I wont be happy with you by hurting someone' 'Remember you once said that you guys never had a proper break up, so its evident that love comes back' Riya stopped her sentence as she saw Arjun crying.

'But I love you' and I love her too' Arjun cried.

'But you have to choose' how about I make a choice I don't want to be with you and remember we never promised each other anything' Riya reminded Arjun.

'Dekho vaise bhi I was thinking of breaking up as I thought it was time, thank god Roshni came back na jane mai kaise keh pati ye' Riya lied.

'Stop lying and hurting yourself please' Arjun begged.

Riya quickly bid goodbye, 'Let me kiss you one last time because we are two different souls from now on' Arjun nodded his head in a yes with his eyes closed and streams of tears running down his eyes. Riya closed her eyes and kissed her laptop before shutting it down.

Riya's heart pierced apart into million pieces as she completed her words and her actions hurt her more, but she was happy that somewhere she had brought two lovers back to where they belong.

Arjun on the other hand, was disturbed with Roshni's comeback, but he had to fulfil a promise a kasam that Riya gave him. He could only see a dead end for himself if he didn't follow Riya's promise.

The young lady who read the diary till the end as she had streams of fresh tears running down her eyes.

She had mixed emotions, is this the same Riya Arjun was once talking about? She stressed hard on her brain as she opened up Arjun (her fianc's) email account. She searched in the search list for chats done mid 2010.

She read Arjun says 'I love you Riya' on one.

Arjun says 'I'll always be there for you' she read on another one.

Riya says 'Jaan I love you'' and so on.

The young lady was shocked with her eyes widened, heart wrenched with all the emotions crashing down together.

She felt her wrench for the conversation Ariya had begging each other, a slight wrench for coming in between Ariya. A slight realisation of being betrayed by Arjun for not opening up himself in front of her. Maybe this was the reason for a changed Arjun she saw when he was back to me at the end of 2011.
