Pawan comes back to TV with Aisa Desh...

After a short break, actor Pawan Malhotra is all set to make a comeback on television with Manish Goswami's Aisa Desh Hai Mera. Currently busy with films, Pawan is currently being seen in Don alongside the King Khan Shah Rukh. In Aisa Des Hai Mera , he will be seen as Gaurav Chopra's stepfather, Dr Sanjeet Marvah. An outright positive character, his role will start from next week onwards.

Pawan has not been part of the small screen since the last three years and there are solid reasons behind him choosing Aisa Desh Hai Mera . "I would never say no to Mr. Manish Goswami with whom I've had really wonderful experiences. With him I've done Kahaan Se Kahaan Tak directed by the great Lekh Tandon, and this role in Aisa Desh hai Mera really appealed to me. Manish Goswami has done lot of good things for television," he says.

Pawan has an excellent body of work to talk about like — Saleem Langde Pe Mat Ro, Bagh Bhadur and serials like Intejaar, Nukkad, 9 Malabar Hill and Kahaan Se Kahaan Tak. Now whether Pawan's entry makes the lukewarm serial a little hot or not remains to be seen.
