Nowadays this serial has made female characters take back seat esp the main lead anandi.

She was always shown strong and confident lady helping others. After marriage she is shown only cooking and taking care of husband clothes. Example are ,

Making halwa, stuffing karela and ginger juice.

Putting clothes for the husband on the bed.

Now in the ganga case too only jagya and shiv are shown like heroes helping ganga.

I dont mind anandi doing household work. But plz show her going to school and panchayat office.

I hate the mal writers of the show. On top of it they are not showing her moving fwd in her life and forgetting her past. Shiv character was introduced to make anandi realize that she can do lot better things in her professional life too. More than romace I want their bonding more on professional front rather than dealing only family matters. We have seen anandi as a good DIL and would love to see her as a strog individual growing professionally.

anandi ka character gauri k time strong tha...coz she had strong dialogue to speaks...now she has touch me not drama only...

gauri anandi pairing can create magic again...

U r very right, hope she was not married to shiv, and shiv is not bothered about her profession and work. After marriage, she has become a zombie busy with household work and getting worried about her intimacy, Is character ka pura bara baja diya. Some thing is missing in BV, and this Ganga, Anandi, Jagya and Shiv will not be able to make it, we need mirchi.

This is a male centric show Guys are shown as strong confident capable smart and has the right to do anything still gets attention and affection.

Women shown as boring weak crying not at all confident nor smart and deliberately engaging in unnecessary household activities jo na karne par bhi chalega.

One should note a thing, We can easily see guys like shiv or jagya around us but Anandi ganga type women are rare specis, at least I haven't seen in my life, may be others have; no offence to that😊.

I think the writer is a sort of weirdy nerd who never got female attention in life so he is showing this program to put down women and feel big inside himself

I think we are also becoming MCPs, in so many shows where the guy takes time to accept fully a wife, we have patience and take it in our stride, but here as a woman is reluctant we are frustrated, It is not easy to get rid of our MCP mentality just like that, I am telling of myself not to criticise others.
