I have been seeing a whole lot of fans being angry/upset at this track but I do believe that this track does great justice to the story that the cvs set out to tell.It often happens that when the show's lead couple gains popularity, cvs lose the spine to tell their story- they cant move the story forward and end up creating crazy twists and driving the characters to be completely different than they were meant to be. One example that jumps immediately to mind is DMG. AR's popularity ended up ensuring that cvs couldnt return to a Ridhima centric storyline and in the end she ended up as the lamest character on tv ever.
What I like about this revenge track is that it is pretty consistent with RK s character. RK was shown as an heartless bast*rd who never knew his limits. And while his attraction towards Madhu was very evident, I do believe his sudden change into ideal damad was very fishy. I still believe that he had real feelings for Madhubala but that in his relentless pursuit of revenge and hatred he fails to see them in perspective. This not only makes for a very strong layer of characterisation, it also makes the story highly interesting.
What happens when Madhu leaves RK, would he miss her? How would he realise that he was in love with her and how could he ever convince her of it ever again?
More importantly, it brings back focus on Madhu's film career, the story the serial is supposed to tell, without setting the Rishbala track on backgear. Instead the Rishbala chemistry would be more sizzling than ever to see...
I havent really seen any other show's cvs having enough backbone to do what they did. To actually tell their story and stay true to their characters even if cause separation between a very popular jodi..I am just keeping my fingers crossed that RK doesnt have a deadly disease or smthg.. Please no.. just no
