she was hell scared as she was phobic to darkness...
koi hai...please help....she shouted...
she started sweating profousely...
just then she felt a cold hand on her bare waist...
she was scared out of her wits now...
kaun hai....she stuttered...
Maan se bachna muskil hi nahi ..namumkin hei..
she heard his voice...

MA..AN....SHE WASN'T EVEN ABLE SPEAK PROPERLY...
is that realy you????
she held on to his shoulders closing her eyes...
Maan wo andhera....she tried speaking...
shhh...i know...
am here...dont worry.....he tried to make her relaxed...
she moved ahead and hugged him tightly...
she pressed her face in crook of his neck...
she was shivering with fear...

while maan couldn't miss this opportunity of hugging her...
after so many years she was in his arms...
with him...so near...
his other hand snaked to her bare back feeling her skin...
he pulled her more into himself...
he hid his face in her hair...
taking in her aroma...
oh geet...kahan thi tum....he muttered...

while it took quite a bit time for geet to calm down...
as she gained a control over her mental self in his arms...
she tried realizing her surrounding...
the position she was in...
just then she heard him mumbling...
i missed you so much...
she snapped open her eyes...
and a sudden brightness hit her eyes...
it took fraction of second for her eyes to adjust to the light all around...

just then the gravity of situation SEEPED IN...
she felt conscious all of a sudden...
feeling their bodies glued like that...
him holding like that...
she pulled herself away from him in order to create some distance between them...
but failed as his hold didn't let her succeed...
she collided back to his chest...

maan am fine now light s back now...
she tried to but no use he was no word today...
just then she noticed that the lift was not moving...
but light was back...how can this be??? she wondered...
can maan...no no....she corrected herself...

whatever you thinking is correct geet...
maan spoke looking directly into her eyes as if he could
read what was going behind them...
now that was shocking...her eyes actually got enlarged with the shock...
maan...ye ap..kya???
shh...not today sweetheart......he whispered in his husky voice...
i don't think you are in a position to ask me questions...
shouldn't it be the way round...hmm...he asked...

did he actually call me sweetheart??? she wondered...
while geet was mum for now...as she knew it was her who was at fault
for now...
she lowered her eyes...and spoke in a meek voice...
maan i have to go...its getting late...
geet...why you not looking in my eyes today????
geet...i want you to look into my eyes....he asked her for the last time...
but she couldn't...
his hold on her waist got harsh...

geet didn't you hear...what i asked...
LOOK AT ME.....he demanded...
she had never heard him talking to her at this pitch...
she instantly looked into his eyes...
she shivered looking at the intensity with which he was looking at her...
looking at his face like this her hand on her own accord moved to
his face...she cupped his cheek from one hand to calm him down...
but she was unaware of the effect that her touch castes on him...

DON'T.....he told her in order to stop her from calming him...
soothing him...
geet instantly pulled her hand back held her saree pallu tightly in her hand...
you have lost this right.....he spoke looking into her eyes...
she shivered looking at the pain and loneliness in his eyes...
but what she didn't know was that this was the iota of the pain that she saw...

why???? just one word was enough for both of them...
maan pinki s waiting downstairs......she spoke again lowering her eyes...
as she wasn't able to beat that complaining gaze...
GEET....he yelled
and turned her around and pinned her to the wall...
tears welled up in her seeing his this side...
she had always seen sweet sweet maan...
but this side...
and moreover she knew she was responsible for making him like this...

as maan saw her tears...oh god...he cursed himself...
geet...listen...look at me...
this time he spoke very softly...
but she didn't budge...
he knew she was scared of him now...
he bend forward and kissed her tears...
maan....she gasped...
her eyes of their own looked at him...
only see love and concern for...
oh god how can he love her so much...she thought...

maan am sorry....she sobbed...
but he silenced her by placing his finger on her glossy lips...
god...feel of her lips under his finger felt so nice...
he eyed her lips and then her eyes which were looking at him only...
geet...we were best friends...hai na??? he asked...
she noded her head...
then what happened that you left me like this...
did i misbehave with you on prom night
or did i say something that you didn't like...
she shook her head instantly...

then why did you leave me alone...
you were also like others geet...was i fool to think that
i was special for you...
this is what you do with your special ones...
you leave them alone to rot in this world...
without thinking that they are not even in a habbit of living without you...
he asked...

maan....she tried speaking but his finger on her lips restricted any movement...
as felt her lips move ...he felt them so soft...
he eyed them...
as geet saw his gaze...she lowered her eyes feeling shy...
maan please let me go....she tried...
but that was no use...
she saw him coming closer...
his breath started fanning her lips...
she felt so vulnerable...she closed her eyes tightly...
he pulled his finger back...
and bend forward...and place his lips on her cheek...

geet you look beautiful when you blush....he whispered in her ear...
maan please let me go.....she whispered as red hue formed on her cheeks...
maine kahn pakda hai geet....he spoke...
as she understood his words she saw that he standing at
a decent distance from her and his hands were in his pocket...
and door of the lift was open...
she was embarrassed...
now without wasting a second she rushed out only to be stopped by maan
as he held her wrist...

you looked beautiful in saree.....and left her hand...
a beautiful smile came on her face and ran out from there...
maan came out and saw her running in her car...
and the car zoomed out...

what do you think...
i will let you run away from me this time...
if you think so then you are wrong...
where ever you wanna run ...run...
but you will be back in my arms...
after all tum to meri jaan ho...
aur koi apni jaan ke bina kaise reh sakta hai....he smiled...
with in 24 hours geet...you will be with me...
i promise...and then you wont be able to run away...
even if it means claiming you...
but you wont be able to run away...

he smirked and called someone and told the needful to be done...
ab kahan bhago hi meri jaan....he smirked...
