Saanchi may be very blunt and insensitive but most of what she says is the truth. She said that here Shekhar family is dreaming of a grandchild and anandi does not even know that shiv has a bad injury mark on his leg. How is that wrong it is the truth.

Saanchi from beginning was against shiv marrying anandi because she is a divorcee. Her fear was valid look at the touch me not attitude of anandi and her crying tubs over singhs and jagya.

Saanchi was against the fact that anandi is a village girl and that time I was against this but now I wonder if anandi had been a city girl she would have been stronger and not so encased in old one husband thought process. Now I feel that maybe saanchi was right in this also.

Saanchi felt that anandi will take shiv towards her family and let's face it she was miserable when living in kesar bagh away from singhs. Shiv did not think about his mother on sankranti also. So I do think the big voice should listen to saanchi before talking about its lame pearls of wisdom.😆

Anandi is not dwelling in old husband thought process but as she is a village girl, she is not exposed to outer world and has that crab in pond kind attitudes which may irritate us city people.

She is very intelligent no doubt but some of her things is repelling because we are not familiar to village culture and their thought process.

In villages people poke nose in others matters to an extent that crosses limit in our city standard. That's why sanchi like us was irritated at anandi's explanation of keeping ganga in BH, crossing city limit of mere helping.

In cities women think the prime importance is to show love and affection to hubby and keep married life interesting rather than engaging herself fully to more than necessary household chores which will bore a newly Wed husband.

According to me there is a huge mental and cultural gap btw anandi and shekhars(shiv as well) which is the root cause of all the problems which can only be minimised if anandi gets exposure to city life and women there.

Ya, u may be right and that is what CVs is trying to portray the conflicts of a once married woman. But Saanchi's prejudice was at a different level altogether.

I don't agree about village versus city. Many of us are originally from villages but grew up in a city. Women are conservative yes, 2nd marriages are rare, but when they happen I don't know if each bride goes thru the nautanki of Anandi. In which case men shud beware.

The problem is not City versus Village, problem is the writer wants to show Anandi as a one man woman forced into a marriage, yet she is staying sati savitri for her ex husband. This is horse crap. The 2 moments when she stitched a button or she put her head against Shiv's broad chest were moments that were natural and enjoyed by the viewers. But the writer decided to go back to 'I will save myself for my first love' mode, reminded me of a beautiful ghazal made immortal by Bhupinder and Mitalee

@yash.pal anandi is not saving herself for ex husband. She does not love jagya or will ever to to him even if she was not married to shiv. Why do u think she refused him when jagya reformed and wanted to marry her again ?

I dont agree with you.

its always hard for a girl to come out of her first marriage whether shes village girl or city girl. its hard for anandi too and for that we cannot blame anandi.

Just because anandi is from village does not snatch her right to live.

I actually find sanchi thinking very low. shes so educated but she acts like she knows nothing.

She needs to understand anandi and its high time

@TM,yes I agree with you. She may not choose her words carefully, but, the essence is right whether it was about Anandi-Shiv relationship or Ganga entering haveli. We may question what right she has. But, we must also acknowledge at the same time, she has brought forth something which both Shiv and Anandi tried to hide. But .for how long? And it was really pathetic seeing them telling lies to CM both the times.
