aww, no one can get perfect grades all the time
(trust me i kno), i work very hard in school and yet i'm still and A, B student...

dont take this negatively, but if you always got the highest score then you wouldnt appreciate your grades, like thomas edison said when he was asked why he failed so many times "well i learned one thousand ways how not to make a electricity, but i only needed one way for it to work"

make a chart about all the things you did differently than when you studied for your other exams, and eliminate them the next time you study, its as simple as that.

and trust me, people probably worked just as hard to earn that B that you call shameful, so be proud even if you werent in the top. I hope this helps.

i totallie agree.....and not onlie that, u shud learn to prioritize and decide for urself..set some realistic standards for urself....thatz wad i experienced for my O levels and i felt real bad when i cud not get into a junior college(JC)...I felt that my entire world came crushing down.....at first my teacher told me that i cud go to a JC and i got 15 points...By rite i got 21 points and i shud get 20 points and below to get to a JC....But other doors opened for me and now I m studying for a degree..BSc(Hons) in Biomedical Sciences rite now!!!!

Itz a matter of how u see ur success and failures!!!!

heya,
im glad u just let it all out 😊
ermm..well i am an A*, A or B student..if i get a C then it's much below what i can do and yes i have got a C below, but never less than that..and i got that as i'm doing a lot of my GCSE's or like u guys call it-O levels a year early in many sujects..and it was my first practice paper ever 😕 and it was a one-off which is exactly what i'm trying to get to..i am absolutely against one off exams!! 😡
This might not be ur complete potential..and if deep down u know for a fact that u can do much better..then go for it!! like they say..once u set ur mind to things..absolutely anything is possible 😊 😉 But then again..its not a one off because they give u a chance to do your coursework which is a part of your final GCSE result. I am a bit unsure about ur situation..when u say u prepared a lot..then wot do u mean? i mean to say how long did u revise for and all? 'cos im a last mint gal..i always do things last mint..even revision for my exam 😳 😕
don't take it to heart..we learn from our mistakes..if we fail once..no one other than sum stupid person would want to fail again..they would put even MORE in to their work and give it all they've got..give it their best 😛 and that's exactly wot i think u should do..

Tina xx
