Thane Cyber Crime Cell questions Nach Baliye contestant Manav Gohil on why he and his wife Shweta bought 200 SIM cards

It emerged last night that the Thane Cyber Cell (TCCC) cops have questioned Nach Baliye contestants Shweta Kwatra and Manav Gohil over how and why they had purchased 200 pre-paid SIM cards from an Andheri-based BPL dealer. The cyber crime cell was investigating a seemingly-routine case of obscene SMSes sent to a Thane housewife, when they stumbled onto a much bigger scam that can impact all reality-based shows on television. Probing a complaint by a Thane woman who had received a series of lewd SMSing on the night of October 16 from three different numbers, cops found that all three numbers were part of the 200 SIM cards that a BPL dealer in Andheri had sold to Kwatra and Gohil. The couple, police say had purchased these 200 SIM cards in bulk from the dealer to gift to friends and well wishers who could then vote for them in the dance show. Nach Baliye 2 is poised at a crucial stage with four couples eliminated and the fate of the remaining six, including Manav and Shweta, hanging on the number of SMSing they receive in their favour. One of these 200 SIM cards bought was handed over to an assistant of Mahesh Patkar who is the choreographer for Manav and Shweta on Nach Baliye. ---------------------------------------

I know it's a wrong forum but I posted it here intentionally (sorry, didn't know if it was posted earlier). I just wanted to make it a point that these voting based results don't make the real talent a winner because anybody who has more money could vote more or who has more friends or relatives would have a bigger chance of winning the contest. In JDJ, Shveta deserved to win but unfortunately Mona took the prize but again it's nothing new to see the talented one losing .

No way!! I think yeah the contestants might have asked their friends to vote and all and maybe they did buy SIM cards. But I don't want to believe that. I like JDLJ a lot better than NB. It's glossier, classier and wayy better dances can be seen here. NB seems like a freak show to me. Dunno why I watch it.

ommm hard to say, but there must went something wrong cuz more then 50% was voting for sheveta but Mona won. Think about it everyone in televesion industry and most of movie people was supporting sheveta even the one and only Rajeev and Sohail was there for her but something unexpected happens. I am happy for mona that she won I know she tried hard and her hard work payed for it, but Sheveta was diffrent. Think about it she never get any scrores less then 20 but Mona got a lot under 20 but still. anyways Gongrat to Mona 👏 its luck and its life. Better luck next time sheveta there is always tomorow 😉

Mona never got a score less than 20...please check you facts before you make a statement.

ok i am a manav shwetha fan and they dint do ne thing rong!!!!!!! they paid money for those cards its perfectly okkkkkkk
and also they r great dancerssssss ok... 😳 so if they r votin isme kya prob hai many people vote for their favs and don vote for good couples but mona is a great dancer who had no skills before she entered and i am proud she won
and manav shwetha dint do nething rong
