OK, I totally fail to understand how utterly insensitive, irresponsible and SELFISH this stupid girl is!!! I mean, did she not know that her family was after her blood? Did she not know that her family had already tried to kill Zoya because of her? And did she not know that Asad wanted to hide her someplace else so she wouldn't be a threat to his own family??

Agreed that Dilshaad may have forcibly brought her home but shouldn't she have remained hidden in a corner in the house instead of casually marching and opening the front door at the knock??? I swear, even as an audience, I felt so shocked and angry at her behaviour! If it was my mom fighting death and I came to know about what Maryam had done, I would have atleast beaten the hell out of her! And nobody would have objected because I'm a woman...!

Isn't this a fact? If I'm a woman faced with evidence that my mom was probably going to die because of the reckless behavior of a stupid man, I could slap the guy and the audience wouldn't find any faults with me. But now that the situation is reversed, we can't take it... Interesting!

Anyway, this post is not about Asad. This post is about Maryam. Am I the only one disgusted by her behavior? Am I the only one that gets irritated everytime I see her openly strolling in the hospital again? Am I the only one miserable that it hasn't even occured to her to beg Asad for forgiveness and accept his plans for her hiding without aurgument?

But why was Mariyam brought back in the first place ???

Only to create this slap crap scenario ??? Coz Asad had no problem having the actual threat roaming around freely in the hospital and suddenly she is posted back to her uncle's

And for someone so desperate as Dilaawar, he did not come looking for her after all this while either .

In terms of why she just went...it might be because she's from a village. When our family brought in a girl from a small village to help my grandmother's domestic servant out, she would just run to the door if someone rang the doorbell and open it immediately and just stare at the sabziwala or whoever was there. All the time. Even if she was warned not to.

Maryam is just a kid and a silly immature one who unfortunately had to face the trauma of being raped. Remember she has been raised in a village, probably without education and she does not know what the real world is all about. Heck, Zoya, despite being from NYC, does not know how to handle the real world..she is always getting into trouble..how can we expect Maryam to be clever about things? She probably has not even stepped outside her house too many times in her lifetime.
