Hey guys back with another update...sorry it took a little longer to get out. So i've decided that along with a song, I'll dedicate a quote to each chapter...hopefully a quote that will bring a smile to your face 😊

Also I just wanna say I'm really sorry that I'm not able to respond to all the comments I've been getting. I really am trying to get to it, but because of my work I'm not getting time to reply back to everyone. I just wanna say it means alot to me that you guys comment, thank you so much and i read all of them.

Chapter 4: Bad Girls

Taani stood there in the rehearsal hall for an hour just staring at herself in the mirror thinking back to everything that has happened. She thought about what happened today and shook her head, "This is not me. I'm not the girl who gets so upset, I'm the girl who smiles through everything."

She looked in the mirror intently and saw how frazzled she looked. "Dance was ruined for me, yet it is the only thing that makes me feel better when I'm this low."

"Alright Taani no one is here, let's just get this over with." She spoke to herself again as she tied her hair up in a pony tail. Going towards the speakers she saw that someone's Iphone was still connected to the speakers. Closing her eyes she let the stress fuel her emotions as she opened her eyes and started dancing to the song she chose.

Rey was standing in the music room unsure of what he was doing there. It was long past six and everyone had probably left to go home. He didn't know why he was sitting on a chair with a guitar near him. Usually dance was his go too, but today he felt like doing something else, and it wasn't even because he had a problem. It was that one girl, that one girl who was turning his life upside down. Remembering Taani's tears Rey's fist tightened.

All of the sudden Rey heard music from the rehearsal hall, a song that he knew was on his Iphone.

Opening the wall he couldn't believe what he saw. Taani, his Taani was dancing. Her hair up in a messy pony tail, wearing sweats and a dance tank was dancing. Freestyle hip hop, Rey could only stand there watching in awe. He knew Taani was a good dancer, but he never assumed that she could match their level. He didn't realize that if she wanted, she could be part of their competitive team. Watching in awe he saw her finish and take a deep breath in and smile softly. It was like all of her tensions had faded away.

Taani ended and took her water bottle and left the room leaving Rey there stuck in spot. He shook his head and went over to get his Iphone and checked the camera that always was on to capture all of his dances and saw that Taani's entire session had been recorded. "The gang needs to see this." He decided with a smile.

Taani walked into her house with her bag shrugged on her arm. Opening the door she peaked through to see if her dad was still home, and luckily enough he wasn't. Smiling at that fact she went inside.

"Taani, one sec I want to talk to you." Swayam said as he saw his sister walk in.

"Haan Bhai." Taani replied.

"Taani," Swayam said, "I think you should give him a chance."

"Bhai," Taani said softly, "I literally just started feeling better. Please just for tonight can we just try and forget that this happened. Until tomorrow morning I don't want to talk about it." Taani said.

Swayam sighed and nodded, he understood after all especially since his relationship with his father wasn't that great. "Alright, waise there's a surprise for you in your room." Swayam said with a knowing smile.

Taani gave him a questioning look as he walked into his room and went to her own. Opening the door she was not expecting to see what she saw; her best friend in her pajamas laying across her bed on her laptop.

"Aashi?" Taani questioned.

"Hi Taani you're here good." She said sitting up quickly. "I brought Ryan Gosling, Channing Tatum, and a bunch of Katherine Heigl movies. Not to mention I brought our favorite movie, triple TKA." She said like a brat. Taani smiled at the movies she mentioned, White Chicks was her favorite movie.

Without warning Taani hugged Aashi, "Thanks." Taani said as she felt Aashi hug her back.

"Best friends hote kis liye hai." Aashi smiled.

"Now come on, I have an entire tube of Ben and Jerry's and I also got Rasberry Iced Tea and we have a whole bunch of movies to get through." Aashi said making Taani laugh as they got their ice cream and sat on her bed watching the movies.

"Oh my god, Ryan Gosling marry me already." Taani said laying on her stomach as her and Aashi watched Crazy, Stupid, Love.

Aashi giggled and said, "Didn't you just say that about Channing Tatum, who is married."

"Psh, who cares, they are freaking sexy!" Taani said throwing a piece of her popcorn at Aashi.

"I know who else you think is 'freaking sexy'" Aashi said using her fingers as quotes.

"Shut up." Taani glared at her truly wondering if she knew.

"His name starts with an R-E-Y." Aashi grinned as Taani got up and threw her pillow at her.

"How? What? You're wrong." Taani managed to get out from shock.

"Taani I know you and I know all your looks, I especially would know if you like someone. It's funny how Swayam hasn't figured it out yet either." Aashi pointed out.

"Aashi!" Taani said burning bright red.

"I think most of the girls see it too, and the boys definitely see the clear cut chemistry between you both, I mean it's really surprising Swayam hasn't seen it by now." Aashi continued.

"Do you think'do you, um?" Taani tried to ask but Aashi answered for her.

"That you likes you back? Hells to the yea. Any idiot can see it between the both of you. That's why you both fight so much, it's because each of you wants the other to understand their point of view and both of you get mad that the other doesn't especially since you care about each other so much." She explained leaving Taani in her thoughts.

"Aashi, can I ask you a question? You've been dating Rohan for a month, but you didn't seem so close to him before." Taani asked her.

"Hey, tonight's not a night for heavy discussions let's get back to Gosling with his shirt off. And to answer your question, he asked and he was sweet and we're taking it slow one step at a time." Aashi snapped her fingers.

Taani laughed and had to agree. "Gosling." She said going back to her dream world.

Aashi shook her head at her, "It's way too easy to distract you." She said knowing that Taani didn't hear a word she said as she was too busy watching Ryan Gosling.

The next morning Taani was feeling a lot better. She was feeling like her old self again, and she had her best friend to thank for that. She also felt like she had only slept for five minutes.

"Taani, get up school in 10 minutes." She heard Swayam knock on her door over and over again.

Aashi groaned and said, "School already?"

"Get up," Taani turned around in her bed not wanting to get up.

"You first." Aashi said.

"Girls get up or I'm leaving without you." Swayam yelled from outside.

"Ugh," both girls said at the same time getting up.

"How long were we asleep for?" Aashi asked Taani with sleepy eyes.

"Ten minutes." Taani answered with a yawn.

"Felt like five." Aashi said.

"Alright let's get ready before Bhai turns the house upside down." Taani said laughing as they went and got ready for school.

Rey was already at the rehearsal hall earlier in the morning, rewatching Taani's dance on his phone. He didn't know why he smiled watching her. Today was the first time he was thankful that Sharon downloaded that app on his phone that automatically recorded what was going on when his dance playlist music was going on.

"Hey dude what are you watching?" Nil said coming into the room with Vicky and Rinni.

"Guys check this out, Taani is a high level dancer." He said showing them the video.

"Wow." Rini was the first to speak while they watched her performance.

"Anya wanted to leave the group you know." Vicky brought up already having ideas of putting Taani in Anya's place.

"Yeah but we have to remember that she doesn't like dancing." Rini said.

"Not liking dance, but someone who dances like this has to have a passion for it." Rey said knowing that even though he didn't liking singing, he had a passion for it.

"Alright guys let's go we have work to do." Rey said leaving his phone in the speakers as he usually did.

Taani and Aashi were tired as hell as they walked into college. Leaning on each other, they both waked with droopy eyes towards the main entrance.

Taani walked with her eyes starting to close and bumped into a pole only to spin around and bump into Aashi.

"Ouch." Both girls said as they looked at each other and laughed.

Suddenly Swayam showed up in front of them with two cups of coffee, "Here both of you look like you need it." He said as the girls gratefully took their cups.

"Waise Taani why don't you meet me in the projector room as GS and CS we have a few things we need to discuss." Swayam said suddenly. "Aashi we have to go for an important team meeting right now." Swayam said urgently hoping Aashi would understand his tone.

"Bhai, sab thik hai na?" Taani asked concerned.

"Yeah sab thik hai, you just go read the papers I left for you there." Swayam said quickly as he told Aashi to follow him.

"Sharon, what are you doing here?" Taani asked confused as she was detained in the projector room until her brother got back.

"Tumhara bhai, he thinks that you are going to run off so I am here to baby sit you." Sharon said with a small smile.

"What Bhai, Bhai ne aisa kahan? Aise kaise?" Taani said with her mouth wide open.

"Taani did you do today?" Sharon asked with her arms crossed over her chest.

Excitedly Taani responded, "I woke up ate Coco Puffs and watched Looney Tunes on tv with Aashi." Taani said with a wide smile.

Sharon shook her head saying, "Hopeless." As she continued to talk and distract her friend hoping Swayam would fix the situation.

"This is bad," Aashi said looking at what had happened on her phone.

"How did this happen?" Simi asked as all of them stood in rehearsal hall.

"I don't know. Last I know is that I left my phone here when we," Rey said pointing to Vicky, Nil, and Rini, "left to go find you guys."

"And then when we went outside we realized that everyone was on their phones, and it was like this video went viral." Nil said.

"Taani is not going to be happy about this." Swayam said.

A group of students came into the projector room and found Taani and Sharon there.

"Oh look it's Taani." One of the girls sneered.

"What a hypocrite, pehle kehti hai that she's a singer and not a dancer, but she dances like a competitor." The other said.

"Excuse me?" Taani said not understanding what they were talking about.

"Get out right now." Sharon said with her attitude.

"Why? It's not like you haven't seen the video of her dancing." The girl sneered.

"I'll give you five seconds to leave before I turn your life into a living hell." Sharon promised and watched as all of them left.

When Sharon turned around she saw Taani on her phone, her face dropping when she saw the video that had been uploaded.

"How? No one was in the room." Taani said. She looked at the sender and her eyes widened at Rey's name. "Rey." Taani whispered as Sharon tensed.

Taani gritted her teeth and got up, "This is why you were keeping me here."

"Taani wait." Sharon yelled but Taani left the room in anger going to the rehearsal hall to find Rey.

The entire gang was in the corridor not knowing that Taani was on her way out to meet them. Seeing Rey standing there made Taani's blood boil.

"How dare you!" She yelled marching up to Rey not caring about the people staring at her.

"Taani listen, first calm down." Swayam tried to reason with her.

"Calm, bhai I was calm until your friend here decided to interfere in my personal life."

"Taani I didn't do it." Rey said trying to calm her down.

"Right, which is why it was sent from your phone." Taani said sarcastically.

"Just look at her, such a hypocrite, and now that the truth is out she's bashing on Rey." People around them started saying.

"Hypocrite, you know what hypocrisy is, Rey sings. He's a damn good singer, and he plays the guitar but he's always hating on the music department." Taani said in anger.

"Taani!" Sharon said shocked that Taani said that.

"You know why," Rey said anger clouding his judgment, "Because dance is better than music and even if you don't want to accept that then this video here," He said pointing to her phone, "Shows that somehow deep down you know it."

"How about the song Rey? Strumming the guitar so perfectly, you gotta keep your head up, right?" Taani replied.

"Looks like someone isn't so different from us after all." Rohan said backing Taani.

Soon everything spiraled down into another dance versus music battle. Hearing the noise VP, AVP, and Ram headed from their office to the corridor.

"Enough!" VP yelled grabbing everyone's attention. "Why is this fight always spiraling out of control?" He asked anger seethed in his voice.

"Enough is enough, starting from tonight we'll have a counselor come in. Tonight we are having a mandatory overnight college retreat." VP sir said.

"You and most definitely you." He said pointing to Taani and Rey, "Are of the mandatory attendance list."

"As of now all of you," VP said looking at the dancers and the singers, "have forced attendance on this overnight college retreat." AVP said.

"This fighting has to stop now! This retreat will be mandatory especially for the dancers and the singers and hopefully through this you can try to get along." AVP said leaving the kids in their mess.

The two groups looked at each other and Rey couldn't take it anymore. Grabbing Taani's arm he dragged her away so that they could talk.

"Rey, Rey stop!" Nil said but it was no use.

"Let them go, maybe they'll work things out." Aashi said.

Rey dragged Taani down the hallway despite her constant protests.

"What are you doing?" Taani asked Rey in anger as he locked the janitor's door behind him.

"How could you do that to me?" Rey yelled anger displayed all over his face.

"You started this Rey and I finished it." Taani yelled back in equal anger. Both of them stood there breathing out in anger when Taani said, "How could you send that video to everyone when you knew how I felt about dance?"

"How could you not believe me when I said that I didn't?" Rey asked hurt flashing across his face.

"Who else would have Rey, no one besides you had access to it." Taani said shaking her head.

"Why won't you just believe me?" Rey asked slamming his hand on the wall trapping Taani in between his arms. "Why can't you just admit your passion for dance as well, I know your dad screwed it up for you but I can see it in your eyes when you dance! You love it." Rey said.

"Why don't you answer the same question Rey." Taani said, "Why can't we share the same passion?" She asked the question the both of them had been avoiding.

"Why won't you just understand this?" Rey yelled in anger.

"I hate you." Taani said glaring at him entrapping her. That was the final draw for Rey. Gripping her waist he pulled her into him.

Without thinking, without caring about the consequences Rey placed his lips on Taani's. He didn't know why he did it but all he could think about was Taani's soft lips touching his in that rough, aggressive kiss.

Taani didn't know how to react when Rey's soft lips met hers in an urgent kiss. She definitely wasn't expecting herself to kiss him back with an equal amount of passion. Her eyes closed the second his lips touched hers, and she couldn't break it, her arms tangled themselves around Rey's neck, she wanted it as much as he did.

When they pulled away none of them opened their eyes, their foreheads still in contact. Taani was the first to open her eyes and when she did she gasped. She couldn't believe what happened. Without another moment to spare she pushed Rey aside and ran out.

Rey watched in a daze as Taani ran off as his lips tingled from their kiss. Thinking of everything that happened Rey whispered to himself, "She kissed me back."
